“Very nice home away from home. Any questions were responded to immediately, excellent host. I would definitely stay again.”

“Nice place to stay”

“We had a wonderful stay. The kids loved it. It was a beautiful country setting. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.”

“Location and property was perfect for what we needed! The house had everything we needed and was a great location to parks, grocery and local favorites!”

“We stayed 5 days in this lake rental (July 2026). It had everything we needed but was tight for a group of 7 people. Using the sunporch as additional living space was very helpful. The unit has windows AC in all bedrooms and one in the living room, which meant the sunporch was hot during the day. However, the owner did have box fans at the rental to help circulate air. Running the AC units on high during our stay kept the main part of the unit nicely cooled. The owner was excellent at responding……

“We appreciated the cleaniness, comfortable and newer furniture, extra table seating used for eating and playing games, well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, large and plentiful towels, camp chairs to use around the firepit, all of the unexpected "extras", large backyard for the grandchildren, availability and friendliness of the hostess. You can tell she spent a lot of time anticipating renters' needs. Our only disappointment is that while most cottages in the area are reserved on a……

“Very Nice cozy place just seconds from the Lake.”

“Wonderful property.”

“We enjoyed staying at Stony Brook Cottage. The place is meticulous in detail and design. The space is so thoughtfully stocked from the bag of ice, to the lemon press, s’mores box, and to extra snacks. The building of the cottage is expertly done from the finishes to even the painting. The owner did a wonderful job designing and creating a wonderful space not only inside but also the exterior too! It is extremely close to two state parks where you are just minutes away from trails and……

“The place was immaculate. Family Retreat is like a 5 star hotel. Crisp sheets. Plush towels. Plenty of room for friends and family to come for dinner. Excellent Wi-Fi. Nice beach near by. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We had a beautiful surprise when we saw how incredibly gorgeous this placed is. Everything in this place looks brand new. Now I want to remodel our family room with knotty pine. (Sorry hubby) I told the owner, “I could live here, it’s so beautiful!””

“We loved the cottage. It had a great backyard for our dog. Clean and well stocked. The hosts were very responsive. Would definitely stay here again! close to fishing and restaurants. ”

“Loved my stay at Beer Camp. Lots of outdoor seating and a big firepit with wood included. My family enjoyed the lake during the day and our smoors around the fire at night.”
