The hotel is beautiful, and the team is very warm and welcoming. I loved that parking was included, and the rooftop felt very private for a day in the sun by the pool. After we booked the hotel, we realized that many of the food spots that we wanted to try were quite a distance from the hotel (35-45 minute walk), which is just something to be aware of if you're booking this hotel! Plan to walk or Uber a lot.

My wife and I went here for a weekend get away. The room and hotel itself was very quiet, chic, modern with a Yucatan vibe. All around amazing stay and will definitely come back here in the future.

We absolutely loved our time in Merida and staying at the CIGNO Hotel was perfect for us. A little removed from the Centro of town but easily walkable and completely safe, day or night. The hotel was absolutely lovely. 10 spacious rooms, excellent staff and food. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and had two dinners as well. The margaritas are exceptional. The entire staff is pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again while visiting Merida!!

What a lovely stay! The staff was super attentive but also let us enjoy the ameneties. We had the rooftop pool all to ourselves one day. What a treat! Gorgeous property. Stay here if you can!

The Cigno Hotel is a beautiful oasis in central Merida. The room was large, beautifully appointed and well air-conditioned. The food at the restaurant was excellent-modern Mexican cuisine. We felt one of the best part of the experience was the staff. They were friendly, helpful and very gracious. You cannot go wrong staying at this excellent small hotel. We had a very positive experience at Cigno Hotel.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The building itself, a nineteenth century casona, was beautifully renovated into one of the best boutique hotels my family and I have stayed at. The staff was amazing, professional, and friendly. Perla, Esteban and Victor, and Vanessa went out of their way to make our stay a relaxing and culturally-enriching experience. Can't wait to go back to Merida and stay there once again.

Amazingly beautifully restored property that will take your breath away. Only 10 rooms. It is in an older neighborhood and we arrived at night. There wasn't much else going on in the immediate area... it's not an entertainment or restaurant district, so you would would not expect this gem to be tucked away in the middle of the block. Book it. You won't be sorry.

The architecture, the design are beautiful, the rooms, shower etc super comfortable, A/C, the staff extremely friendly, the parking easy, etc... etc... I already mentioned to the reception that they should change their policy regarding the products to choose from in the room. They have Nespresso capsule that they charge $ 55.-- and a bottle of wine for $ 980.-- (same price like in the restaurant). Well, the price per night is quite high comparing to our hotels and therefore a certain complimentary basic things should be included or like the wine reduced to 1/2 price or whatever. But a lovely oasis place to stay if you want to have a rest and a base in Merida. Thanks to all the stuff

This was a very nice hidden gem. Very close to shopping, restaurants and overall a wonderful experience. I want to mention that there were a few people who stood out that made our stay wonderful. Michelle & Jenny (concierge)- who were an absolute pleasure , and they both provided excellent service and addressed our concerns promptly. Victor - made excellent recommendations for breakfast and was a phenomenal server- Housekeeping staff were exceptional, and kept our place very clean and tidy. We had a few hiccups, but some of it was due to the obnoxious guests, and that you can’t help, however tje CIGNO Staff handled it professionally and dutifully. This place a quaint and a tucked-away-oasis and I’d highly recommend booking a stay at the CIGNO for a beautiful and tranquil visit. Thanks again for everything!

The hotel is fairly nice, but expensive for what you get. Staff is attentive and friendly but the rooftop pool has no service so you’re on your own if you want food or drink. They try to follow you around but you can be waiting for service some times. It’s a bit out of the way but 15 minute drive to town. They keep it very clean! A nice quiet hotel. They need to setup a WhatsApp service for concierge and service.
