Comfortable and bright apartment in Mérida

We had a wonderful stay in David's apartment! The space is vaste with high ceilings, bright with huge windows, comfortable (sofa, beds), cool with A/C, stone walls and pool, functional with a large kitchen/eating area with kitchen basics and close to the Centro (10 minutes walk to Plaza Grande). David was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions. Highly recommend!

Plumbing doesn't Work

Although the house was nice and the people who ran it were nice, the plumbing did not work for half the trip. We picked this spot so we could cook our own meals, but as it turned out, we couldn't because there was no water or no hot water for 3 of the 6 days. Of course that meant no showers or flushing toilets as well which is a problem in the heat of Mexico. The owner sent plumbers to fix the problem on two days but as it turns out the neighbourhood infrastructure cannot support the water demand, so they couldn't do much about the problem.
