However, the service unfortunately falls short of what one would expect from a hotel with such potential. While the staff is genuinely kind and well-intentioned, the hotel feels understaffed and unable to deliver a luxury experience. There is no room service, no minibar……

“We stayed for 3 nights April 20-23, 2026. Rooms are nice, overlooked the ocean with excellent views. Rooms cleaned each day and staff were all friendly. AC in the rooms and it was hot out. The AC worked well, not excellent, however, worked well enough. I would book this room again. There are four rooms that overlook the ocean while four other rooms that really have no view at all. ”

“This hotel definitely comes with a bit of a workout — there are quite a few stairs to climb to get around the property. That said, it’s one of those rare cases where the effort genuinely pays off. The views from up top are absolutely stunning and make every step worth it. The room itself was fantastic. “The AC did not cool past a certain point, but was good enough. The staff seemed kind of careless. Didn't get a welcoming vibe from them. The wifi comes and goes. The water they offer is outside so it's always warm and dusty. Half the building is still under construction. The new concrete rooms look like a cold, gray, bunker. Staying there for multiple days makes you feel like you're in a dungeon. The toilet would shoot water up like a geyser when flushing. The shower is right next to a sliding……

“We really enjoyed our stay here in early December. The room decor was lovely and the beds were on opposite end of an L shape so it was great for sharing with a friend. The pool was lovely, location excellent, staff very friendly, and just a really nice ambiance and view of the trees and flowers. The only things that could have been improved were the staff playing music all day from 8 AM which may very well be hotel policy I didn’t ask, but it’s not something I enjoy personally, although their……

“Our stay at Il Gatto Rosso Adults Only started very positively. The welcome was warm and friendly, and we had a beautiful beachfront room with a private terrace. The bed had a mosquito net and the room was spacious enough. In the evenings it was also reasonably quiet, with no party noise. However, we stayed three nights and barely slept. “The room was basic, clean and comfortable. The hotel is definitely not a long term stay place. There is very little places to hang clothes. With this Hotel the woman were not friendly and always looked like you were bothering them. The guys were helpful and friendly. There is lots of parking for bikes and cars. Overall its ok probably wouldnt stay there again. Its on the main road so a little noisy but is close to the beach”
