“We have 2 wonderful days in Troyes. - The house: a new construction woods, very beautiful floor height. - The breakfast: home made confiture, “citron vert & tomate vert “ is my favorite one. - The beds: very confortable and super clean. - The spa and sauna: it is the perfect choice after a long day of the shopping. Merci pour tout! ”

“Friendly welcome on arrival and at breakfast. Good room and bathroom. Very good breakfast. Adjacent restaurant is very good but a bit pricey. Very good for an overnight stop or longer to explore the area.”

“Very comfortable room (the ones with a balcony in the range 31-36 ish). Warm (it was end Nov), attractive, carpeted (always a bonus), beautiful sunrise view. We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits). Reception lady was very helpful and attentive. This is a really good travelling stopover choice. The restaurant is consistently very good. Menu choices are seasonally varied and of a high standard. Presentation is……

“Reposant. Très bel environnement, personnel agréable. C’est un 4 étoiles à l’esprit familial sans côté guindé ni oppressant. On s’y sent très bien. La chambre méritait un rafraîchissement mais rien de rébarbatif. C’est propre et confortable. Je conseille. ”

“The most beautiful bedroom with ensuite and dressing room overlooking the garden. Absolutely enormous! The bed, pillows and linen were the most comfortable on our entire European trip. Peaceful location with safe parking directly outside the property. The host was super accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was at a shared table - very French. Highly recommend. ”

“Overnight stay on our way to the south of France. The price for what you get is unbeatable, they are no frills places but the rooms are small and tidy, some en suite, some shared bathroom. The hotel is very rundown but looks like it’s having work done on it. All check-in/out and breakfasts are done at the Campanile hotel next door which is not obvious and not really signposted. Having walked completely around the outside of the building trying to find the entrance, we then saw a tattered paper……

“It was very quiet when we stayed, but was absolutely lovey. I stayed with my three young children, and the staff that were on were very helpful. After a long drive from Provence, they were very attentive and sourced me a very important wine glass for my bottle I brought with me! :-) ”
