“Great location on the main street of Merrickville and close to restaurants and the Rideau. Quiet in spite of the location and enjoyed the coffee maker each morning. Also appreciated that there was sparkling water and coffee cream in the fridge and the cooking facilities were well organized and equipped.”

“This property was good for a quick, fairly cheap, overnight stay. The floors were a bit gritty, but the beds and bathroom were clean, WiFi was strong, and though we didn’t go in it, the pool seemed to be well maintained. Restaurant across the street only open for breakfast and lunch, so for food and petrol, you need to drive 3 or so km. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with fresh made waffles (they give you batter and you cook fresh with a waffle iron) and the coffee was decent.”

“I have never felt so spoiled by a B and B. There was a ton of food in the room, place the property is just gorgeous. Great view! Just a fun place to stay… would come again with my kids.”

“The room was nice and the bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower. Thw water pressure in the shower was really good! The only issue we had is that there were a bunch of teenagers in the room next to ours and they kept banging on the wall and making noise, I knocked on the wall and they finally stopped. We would have called the front desk if they didn't stop. The walls are a little too thin for us.”

“A very cozy place in a small but pretty town. Very welcoming host family share their lovely house and collections. ”

“Breakfast was warm and of course guests dont know to close lids. Coffee plentiful, fruit juices and yogurts. Sausges were sufficient and water plentiful. Very kind employees at this location. Always smiling and helpful. Excellent job!”

“Close to the highway, quick check in. Rooms were not very clean and sheets were stained with black flecks. Fine for a quick overnight but likely would go elsewhere for a bit more.”

“Really cute place to stay. We stayed in the lower unit in the carriage house. It’s in an historic building and there are compromises. There’s no sound insulation with the upper unit. However it was very charming and the price was great. The owner was friendly and helpful.”
