We left right after we checked in. The room was nasty. There was filth in the sink and molded hair in the shower. It was a.5 star hotel at best. I can't believe it had the Hampton name. We refused to stay there were stains on the carpet and the pool had dirt that was visible. We asked for our money back because we took out insurance. Your website had that it was a 3 star; I feel as though there was deception on Expedia website.

I was asked if the third floor was ok. I said sure, we just want a quiet room because we are quiet people. The lady at the desk knew the multiple people with lots of children that were next to and across from us. I know this because she was in her socks and sitting and was eating breakfast with them the next morning. The children were left in the room next to us with no adult in the room and had the security door bar across the door so that every time they went in and out the door banged very loudly. That was about every 30-60 seconds. For 3 hours. They were doing this until midnight (New Years Eve) until I came out of my room and asked them to use a towel to prop the doorway and also someone else had asked the manager to come up and tell them to be quiet because people were complaining. I don’t think the hotel was even near full. We should not have been put next to all of those kids. We are in our 70’s and did not plan on staying up until midnight. Very poor parenting of the mothers not even in the room with the kids. Very poor room choice by the desk lady when she obviously knew those mothers and kids.
Dirty soap in the shower with pubic hair all over it.
Hair on shampoo bottle in the shower. Also, hallway carpet was dirty with many spots on the third floor. Also, there were only two cups to drink water with in a room with 2 queen size beds.

Upon arrival, the clerk at the front desk told us to "hold on" while she spoke to her staff member for at least 5 minutes at the counter. Finally checked us in, but she had to go see if our room was ready (it was 3 pm). The elevator was broken and our room did not have a chair for the desk.

The front desk staff was rude when I checked in. She was sighing when I asked for toothpaste. The elevators weren't working. The room smelled weird and was not clean.

My two children and I stayed here for a family event. The building was dirty, elevator was broken, the sheets had little hairs on them, there were used dirty socks in the room when we got there. It was not the best experience.

Garbage on room floor under the bed. Will not stay again. Hampton was our preferred hotel. In the past 4 years, we have limited our stays due to issues with the brand. Decided to give this one a chance. The brand seems to have slipped and we will not be staying at any Hampton Inn hotel again.
