「This hotel was simply amazing. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The hotel seems fairly new, very clean and the rooms were wonderful. The bed was by far the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. The outdoor pool and patio was very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel. 」

「I have stayed at many hotels in Roanoke and Salem, but I will always stay at Avid from now on. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are immaculate. Very friendly staff. I never have breakfast at hotels but this one is the exception. Excellent.」

「Very comfortable stay in one of the two-bedroom suites. My son and I also enjoyed the pool in the evening. We had to leave too early to try it, but breakfast also looked great. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Blacksburg.」

「Great newer ( 5 years) hotel. Everything was nice and easy. Parking super easy and free. Loved the free billiards table in the lobby. That was a nice extra most places don’t offer. And even though we didn’t use it, the pool was open til midnight which is another nice perk.」

「I need a place to sleep and shower while I helped my son move. Out early on the morning, back late in the day. I get well cared for here. Sparse breakfast that I get on my way to eating with my son. No bells and whistles, just reliable and a place to get recharged 」
