「The photos and description are completely misleading. Photos are several years old from a realtor's listing in 2022 and apparently no upkeep has taken place since then. A few rooms were tolerably clean but there is exposed rat poison beside pots and pans, clutter and debris, half used food in the fridge and cupboards, etc., etc. We've filed a 9 page complaint with VRBO including lots of pictures asking for a refund. 」

「Lovely property about 10. minutes from Oriental, NC. This sweet home is on a cul de sac, next to a Marina. We enjoyed taking the kayaks into the main river where we saw Dolphins and River Otter. Our pets were very happy with a large yard. We enjoyed fishing from the spacious dock. When we asked locals where they swim - they encouraged us to check the waterway reports before swimming. After we saw a jellyfish next to the dock and read about the bacteria, out of an abundance of caution, we chose...

「We wanted just a house on the water to get away and relax. This was the perfect house. My mom has always wanted to live in an old farm house with a big front porch and this was it. We sat on the porch pretty much all day enjoying the views and the breeze. We would live here if we could. I would recommend this house to anyone.」
