「I felt comfortable as a solo traveller. But then it was my home town for nearly 40 years. However staff fantastic. I didn't check in until quite late in the day, and was told my room would be in the 1st not grounds floor which I had asked for. But the reason was the lock on my ground floor was playing up and needed a repair. 「Very pleasant hotel and lovely owners and staff. An old building with character features but clean and tidy. The room was large with a huge double bed, TV, tea & coffee making facilities and a small fridge. The bathroom was modern clean and tidy with lots or towels, but beware the seagulls are noisy if you have your window open. The breakfast was good with a large selection of fruit, cereals or cooked.
