The hotel is at an excellent location, the staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Overall good values. The facility is out date, the room and the corridor were not as clean as we had hoped, and could use some improvements.

Stayed at Hotel Alerion on several occasions. It seems like there are new owners. I was a little disappointed with the maintenance. The light in the bathroom was so dim that you could not see. After several requests, it was replaced and worked great. The elevator was out of order and from what I heard , it has been like that since November 2025. The room was nice . The staff was very good and helped carry the luggage. They also helped us with directions. Overall, it was a nice stay.

The reception staff is wonderful, but the property is ran down, the rooms are not properly clean (the common areas are even worse). Also the establishment houses refugees, so you have families with small (and loud) children living full time in the premises. Very raucous, very noisy. Elevator has been broken for over a year. Drains in both sink and shower are clogged.

Here’s a polished version within roughly 1,500 characters that keeps the tone factual and suitable for a refund request: Writing I am awaiting a response regarding my request for a full refund following my decision to check out after only one night of a three-night stay. The property itself was extremely basic and poorly maintained, with very limited facilities and little to no visible staff presence throughout my stay. The overall condition of the hotel did not meet reasonable expectations. A significant issue was the persistent smell of stale cigarette smoke throughout the building. Despite smoking restrictions, other guests were smoking in their rooms, causing smoke to spread into communal areas and neighbouring rooms. The hotel was also exceptionally noisy. The walls appeared to be paper-thin, meaning conversations, televisions, doors, and general activity from both inside and outside the hotel could be heard clearly at all hours, making it impossible to rest comfortably. During my stay, cigarettes being smoked inside the property resulted in a fire alarm and the evacuation of the entire building, which raised serious concerns regarding guest safety and management of the premises. Additionally, it appeared that the entire first floor was being used to accommodate refugees. While I have no objection to this in principle, it was information that was not disclosed at the time of booking and contributed to the overall atmosphere and experience differing significantly from wha
