"A suite in the Pacifico Tower is like a small apartment. We were on the 14th floor with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and Rosarito Beach. The room was clean and everything worked. We needed extra pillows for our king size bed and the staff brought them up right away. However, some of the details that we have become used to were missing. One tiny little bottle of shampoo for two people and no conditioner. The full kitchen didn’t have any sharp knives for food preparation. Also no paper towels, sponge or dish soap to wash the nice collection of real dishes. So mixed feelings with both a fantastic location, and apartment, but a scarcity mentality when it comes to some of the details."

"We booked a total of 4 suites to celebrate my bday but our request for suites closer to the beach were not considered. When checking in the check in clerk didn’t bother to even pretend that he was looking for options to our requests and told us right away that there was no availability, During our stay, we found out that the vacancy rate was over 20% and there was plenty of availability. The suites we got on the top level of the hotel had issues with lack of hot water and the hallways look unkept. We have been staying at this resort for over 20 years and never had this issue so it was an unpleasant surprise to be treated as if our requests were annoying and not important "

"This stay did not reflect the experience advertised at the time of booking. Major issues included: * No hot water in the room, requiring a room change * Other guests experiencing the same hot water issue * Ongoing construction and noise disruptions not disclosed in advance * Strong varnish/paint fumes from nearby maintenance work * Management promised to pause the work due to a pregnancy but did not follow through * Requested room arrangements (connecting rooms and ocean view) not provided * Main breakfast restaurant closed without prior notice We raised these concerns multiple times during the stay, but no meaningful resolution or compensation was offered. Overall, the services provided were materially different from what was represented at booking, especially considering the premium price point."

"Overall I enjoyed my stay, but there were a couple things that affected my experience. At the Torote buffet, there were a couple times when my table seemed to be overlooked while dining alone. I wasn’t offered drinks or basic table setup unless I specifically asked, while nearby tables were being attended to normally. I’m not sure if it was intentional or just inconsistent service, but it did make me feel uncomfortable at times. My room was also located near the party/rave area, and the music at night was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep. I’d recommend requesting a quieter room if you prefer a more relaxing stay."
