No Air conditioning!!!!!! Loud traffic and hotel noise, because you need to keep the windows open because of no A/C! Older hotel, but well situated in Roma Norte.

It is a nice and very well located hotel. Our room was tight since they put two double size beds in a room that was clearly for two twins or one queen bed. Other than that, the price, cleanliness and facilities are very good! But specially is location: Colonia Roma.

This is a simple, basic hotel that we have stayed at a number of times. It is an excellent value--maybe the best in Roma Norte. The pros: it is very clean, has daily maid service, the bed is comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. Umbrellas and hair dryers are available from the front desk. The location is excellent, near many cafes, bars, and restaurants in beautiful Roma Norte, and is in a quieter area, just a block or two away from the more lively nightlife. The cons: The rooms are small, it can be (but not always) a little noisy at night with sound coming up the air shafts, it is not air-conditioned (although there are fans, and is usually not a problem with CDMX's great climate--cool at night and in the mornings,) and is very basic with no frills. Decor in rooms is dated. However, the rate is one of the best deals in Roma Norte, and if you're looking for a clean, comfortable room just to crash at night, this is the place! Be sure to eat breakfast at Ojo Rojo, an American style diner just a block east on Alvaron Obregon.

I really like this hotel and have stayed there a number of times. It is exceptionally clean (my top priority) and well-maintained, and the location can't be beat. AND, the value is one of the best deals in Roma Norte. That being said, I was particularly disappointed with this stay, because a hairdryer wasn't available the three times I requested one. Twice I was told that one would be delivered to my room as soon as one was turned in, but one never arrived. (Hairdryers are not kept in the rooms--you have to request one from the front desk, and I've never had a problem before.). The solution is simple--they simply need to buy one or two more!?

This is a basic hotel with small rooms and few amenities but A GREAT VALUE!! And a fantastic location!! It is spotlessly clean and well maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is surprisingly quiet at night despite being on the busy Avenida Alvaro Abregon in Colonia Roma, although we were in the back of the hotel (so can't speak to the rooms at the front.) We stayed there twice, and one room had a large bathroom, the other had a smaller one, but both were pristine. Daily housekeeping service with fresh sheets and towels was nice since we usually stay in "home stays" with no housekeeping service. GREAT water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water! Bed was a little too firm for our liking, but is typical of Mexico hotel beds. Water dispensers provides filtered water on each floor (except for the 4th floor, for some reason? Just walk down one floor.) Ask the front desk for a hair dryer, if needed. Be sure to eat at Ojo Rojo Diner, one block east of the hotel (to the right as you walk out), an American-style diner with great breakfast and lunch food, and cocktails in the evening. This hotel is the best deal in the area if you're looking for a CLEAN place to just crash at night after being out and about all day. I highly recommend it.

We usually stay at a "short term home stay" when we travel to Mexico City, which we visit frequently. Because I waited until the last minute, there was nothing available, so we booked this hotel. It is a very basic hotel, with few amenities but immaculately clean (which is my top priority) and it's well maintained. The room was small but the bathroom large, and the shower had great water pressure and was instantaneously hot--rare in DCMX!! The location is fantastic, on the main street in Roma Norte, with tons of restaurants and bars nearby. Our room was immaculately clean and we had maid service every day--fresh clean sheets and towels, which you don't get at a "home stay." The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you need a hairdryer ask for it at the front desk. Also, filtered water is available on each floor (except for the 4th floor, for some reason.) The only negative is that it is not air-conditioned, (which is generally not a big problem in Mexico City year round) but the air doesn't circulate very well even though there are openable windows and a fan. Be sure to eat at Ojo Rojo, an American style diner which is one block east, and serves cocktails all day. The pancakes are killer! Overall this hotel is a fantastic value--on some nights it was only $40 US!!! (Rate varies by day of the week.) I highly recommend it if you want a bare basics but clean and comfortable hotel in a great location.

The place is super clean. The staff is nice and friendly. The location is great with a lot of food options and a 24 hr convince store on the corner. The room is small but ok for 1 person and doable for 2. The only negative was the mattress. It’s really firm like a board.

Great little Roma Norte spot!
Good hotel at a dynamite price. Clean, crisp sheets and fluffy towels. Decent wifi, had a fan in the room for when it was a bit warm in the early evenings, and the location cannot be beaten.

Things we did not mind: room was small, shower space was tight and water was getting on the toilet/everywhere, noisy environment, warm room. Things that REALLY bothered us: uncomfortable bed, and an ant infestation with no food around (they let us change rooms but when they've already gotten into all of your things...) Second time staying at this hotel, unfortunately not as good as the first. The wifi was very unstable this time around and I couldn't get phone data in my room most of the time. Besides that, the experience was mostly the same - it is a fairly good budget hotel in an amazing CDMX neighborhood. Lack of a shower curtain a little annoying. And yes, you can still hear everyone having sex.
