Great views! Great location! Great spaces- upstairs patio view! living room/ kitchen! number of bathrooms! Great restaurants& coffee houses! Felt safe in this neighborhood. Walmart close by for groceries etc very convenient and a Michelin rated taco shop next door. (Maizejo?) Pro tip from Cesar - go to the metro tunnel to get to Chapultepec castle! Landlord is very responsive and helpful! We have many great memories there now! Don't count yet on using the jacuzzi or upstairs "roof" bedroom (smell) landlord has tried hard to improve but needs more work.

Great neighborhood to stay in. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Apartment had an excellent view and very nice bedrooms. Host was easy to communicate with during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Cesar was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The video that was sent with the door code was wrong but the housekeeper was there and provided the correct access number. Building security was great and staff very helpful.Some things that need to be improved:stairs need to have railings installed. Stairs are windy and dangerous and would be safer with railings.Sheets for beds didn't fit and came off the corners during the night which was frustrating. Better fitting and quality sheets needed.Windows were extremely dirty due to being located in a high traffic area and smog in CDMX.

The penthouse was fantastic! The rooms were comfortable, there were plenty of outlets for charging devices, the water pressure in the showers was spectacular, and the views were incredible! Caesar was an excellent host and very good about communicating with us. As it has been mentioned in other reviews, there is a staircase that goes between the three floors; mobility challenged folks may want to pass this by. But for everyone else, it was a fantastic place to relax after we had been all over the city. There's plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. Highly recommend the coffee shop around the corner as well.

Great apartment in a safe, secured building. Great location with many restaurants and park/market walkable. Host was easily reachable on WhatsApp and had the cleaning lady freshen up the place halfway through our stay. Highly recommend. Would stay again. No railings on the staircase, so would not do with young children.

Excellent views

We enjoyed our stay in La Condesa. The apartment was easy to find and get into. There was plenty of room for 6 adults. The kitchen was adequately stocked. The beds were big and comfortable. There are 2 bathrooms on the lower level. There was never a line. The views are spectacular from the living room, the upper level deck and the master bedroom. Windows are big and clean. And the balconies off of the living room and the master bedroom are big and have seats.My only complaints are listed here. These are why I gave a 4 star rating instead of a 5. For instance, there’s one deck chair that’s partially broken. The upper deck has a bedroom off it. It wasn’t usable because of a mildew smell coming from a swampy part of the deck. That section of the deck on front of the penthouse bedroom felt like it might fall apart. The stairs leading up and down from the main floor felt unsafe. There are no handrails. And they creak when you use them adding to the feeling that they’re about to break. They took some getting used to.In his defense, Cesar said he would be looking into the things I brought to his attention. He was very approachable about any and all of my concerns

Good but not as advertised

The good: nice secure building; big apartment; very responsive owner; and great access to Condessa and Roma neighborhoods. Now for the not so good: only 3 out of the 4 bedrooms were habitable (the rooftop bedroom was dubbed the "dirt room" by our kids because of mold); thought long and hard about asking for a partial refund as it put a hardship on our family as one of us had to sleep on a couch; the apartment is not safe for little kids or the elderly is it is a triplex with dicey staircases and low railings on the balconies; despite a great view of the park and castle, one of the biggest disappointment that did not come through in the description was that the apartment sits right over a very busy highway and the noise was really annoying making it very difficult to sleep at night; the apartment was not sparkly clean upon arrival but the host and housekeeper did there best to make it right in the end. For the price we would have expected nicer sheets, towels, bathroom facilities. While the host was extremely responsive and nice (as was the housekeeper (who made us a very nice meal) I have a hard time recommending this property/

Amazing location and view!!!

This was our second visit to Mexico City, and this property and location made our stay perfect!! Cesar was a great host offering to help us with groceries and providing a great list of restaurants in the area to enjoy. The lady who cleaned the property (can’t remember her name) was super friendly and very thorough. We used the hot tub a couple of times. You simply need to plan a bit ahead to ensure it has time to fill up (about 20-minutes or so). It was an amazing spot to enjoy the views.Beds are comfortable. We were there through New Years, so the temps were quite cool at night. The apartment had several electric heaters which served perfectly for taking the chill out of the air, especially when showering. The only “negatives” I could share is the water heater runs out of hot water pretty quickly. Not a big deal at all, but if your group has several people (we had 7), you simply need to space out your showers or someone will be taking a cold shower!!The other “negative” has nothing to do with the property, but has to do with the traffic below. It is loud. Nothing anyone can do about that. It’s a city of 20-24 million people so be prepared.Overall, we were very satisfied with our entire experience with this location, and highly recommend it.ONE NOTE: Our youngest is 16, so we had no problems, but if you have small children, the stairs between the three levels inside the apartment are open with no railings. Just something to be mindful of is you have littles!!

Good from a far, far from good

Views look great, good large windows, and space for 3 couples. First off, it was dirty. Months of grime in the bathrooms, and challengeswith drainage. One bathroom doesn’t drain, one bathroom reeks of sewage smell. Large windows, but very noisy with traffic. The queen size bed is sitting on a double frame. Light fixtures hanging with exposed wires.I told Cesar (owner) about status, and he doubled down twice that we told the cleaning person that things were great. That was 10 minutes after our arrival.

Great Base to Explore Mexico City

We stayed here for a bachelor party with 7 guys in their early 30s. Below I'll list some of the pros & cons of the space, but overall I would highly recommend staying here! Pros: -Location - everything we wanted to go do was walking distance and those things that weren't were a very cheap and quick uber away. -Rooftop - honestly we spent 90% of our time in the space up on the roof. It was a perfect place to hang out and chat with a beautiful view of the park. -Safety - with 24 hour security we always felt very safe. Having to check in with the front desk with our IDs every time did get a little annoying, but very safe. Cons: -Noisy (the main road that is a block away can be heard from the bedrooms pretty much throughout the night). This is somewhat expected being in a massive city like CDMX, but it was louder than expected. -Hot Tub isn't filled when you arrive but they do provide detailed instructions. In the end we were too lazy to use it. -The 4th bedroom on the roof is a little weird and very dark. If it rains, make sure they have an umbrella up there, and make sure not to lock the door to the roof or they're stuck up there. Overall, highly recommend staying here, communication was great, we were able to drop our bags off early, and the rooftop alone is worth it. We would definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased with our stay. Most notably, the water pressure and amount of hot water were impressive. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the environmental services were appreciated. Cesar was immediately available on our check in day to help answer a few questions. Excellent Value and the Best Views of the City

Cesar's Place is the best penthouse in a beautiful and modern building. It has balconies on all three floors. The view from the top floor lounge is the best and the hot tub is great. We even used the pool and gym, both of which were awesome. Super secure building with 24/7 doorman and security. I highly recommend this place if you like views for miles and plenty of space for everyone.
