"we had been driving for 16 hours and I made a reservation through Hotels.com and when I got the confirmation notice that the date was incorrect. I had put it in for the night we were driving and it moved it to two weeks later, which probably was the first available. When I tried to rebook, it said it was sold out, and I was told that I was going to have to pay the $200 because I chose nonrefundable. While I understand that, I called less than five minutes after I booked the room because I realized the date was incorrect. it is absolutely ridiculous that you cannot get a refund on something. You just booked once you noticed that the information was correct. They would not be out any money letting me rebook the room."
