This condo was professionally designed and renovated to be a Modular, Space Efficient MICRO-APARTMENT. It is NOT a "Junior 1 Bedroom" which compromises both the living area and the bedroom. The design maintains the huge living area and connects it to a new Office/Library via French Doors. Because of modular design, at night, they can each convert to a private sleeping area. And, each sleeping area has it's own access to the 3 adjacent, smaller rooms which also serve multiple purposes. These include the Jacuzzi tub/shower and toilet room, the Vanity/dressing room, and the Walk-through Closet/dressing room. Both Sleeping areas utilize deluxe, queen size Murphy Beds hidden in full walls of custom cabinetry. The Home office includes a built-in library, desk, computer, and printer/fax/copier/scanner. There are color TV sets with over 100 channels (with several pay channels such as HBO included) in each sleeping area. This condo has Porcelain floors throughout and Porcelain walls in the tub and vanity rooms. The huge living area includes a dining area with seating for up to 6, a Micro-kitchen with Refrigerator/freezer, Range, Microwave, Dishwasher and smart-storage cabinets, and there is a built-in bar in the Murphy bed cabinets. This condo also features: Large hurricane/sound proof windows facing south with ocean views; High-quality, 'total dark' drapes which allow daytime siestas. Storage includes the walk-through closet with 'smart organizers,' two built-in dressers, one freestanding dresser, and a kitchen service buffet.
The Decoplage has a huge Pool overlooking the ocean with abundant lounge chairs, tables, and umbrellas. The newly updated Fitness Center overlooks the Pool deck. FREE valet parking is included with rental. The Building has state-of-the-art security with 24-hour front desk. There is a Pizza Restaurant, a realtor's office and a deli/grocery store on the premises .There is a 24 hour Walgreen's drug store (with groceries, fresh fruit & vegetables, a Freshii deli, and beach-ware) across the street. There are both French and Italian pastry shops and an Italian fine dining bistro across the street.
All rentals at the Decoplage require: -online application/background check to Decoplage Condo Association 30 days prior to arrival. -$50/adult online app fee paid direct to Decoplage at time of application. -Info sheets, photo IDs, and signed lease to owner for quick guaranteed reservation.
The Decoplage allows visitors but not overnight guests, unless: -Lease is 3 months or longer. -Overnight guest is listed on the lease and guest has been through the application process.

Small but comfortable condo in an outstanding location. We stayed for one month, and found easy access to food, and other necessities. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Wonderful boardwalk right behind the condo. Lovely pool area. Plan to return.
You will not find a better location in or near South Beach, Miami Beach. When we arrived the place at been thoroughly cleaned, with cut flowers in a vase. The Murphy bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the owner is easy to deal with.
What’s not to like; beach-front location, Lincoln Rd walking mall next door, fantastic pool and gym and lots and lots of restaurants and activities at your doorstep. Definitely enjoyed our 30 day stay.

Our stay in South Beach at Mike’s condo was fantastic. The location and the condo weee both great.
We really loved the layout of Mike’s condo. The Murray beds were very comfortable and really opened up the space during the day. The building itself is very nice, clean and quiet. The pool is huge and very nice and overlooks the beach. It is a short walk to dozens of great restaurants and stores. We highly recommend this rental.

Perfect apartment in a pe...
Perfect apartment in a perfect location. What more do you want?Broadband Internet! When installed everything perfect!
The property matched the description, had everything you'll need in a great location on the beach. it was our home base for 6 weeks while I completed a contract in Miami. Be advised, no visitors are allowed. The building has tight protocols to control short-term rentals. Don't expect to have family or friends visit the unit.

Great apartment in perfect location
We stayed in here for 1 month and had a really great experience. The apartment is spacious and really well equipped with everything you could need for cooking, cleaning and living by the beach. There is a very handy washing room on the same floor as the apartment. The air-con works well which is very important in Miami in the summer! The apartment is equipped with TV, computer and printer/scanner. The location is perfect- just a few steps from the beach and at the beginning of Lincoln Road- where all the shops and lots of restaurants are. The Decoplage building is very secure, with front desk staff on at all times. The gym was closed for the duration of our stay but usually it is available to use as part of the package. There is a nice swimming pool outside and you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach at the discounted rate of $5 per item when you stay in the Decoplage. Mike, the owner was really lovely to deal with- he was always available to answer queries and responded to emails quickly. He also returned our deposit very promptly after we left. We would definitely stay here again if we were in South Beach!

Great location...Very nice property and unit.
Mike's property at the Decoplage ("where Lincoln Road meets the beach") was perfect for my needs. The studio with its two Murphy beds and two separate sleeping areas felt more like a two-bedroom unit. Although Mike was out of state, he responded promptly to any questions I had during my stay (which were few), and the staff at the Decoplage was friendly and helpful. Thanks Mike for a great place for me to start my retirement.

Wonderful experience!
This is a great condo to rent from a great landloard. The reality is better than any description and picture of the condo. It felt larger than we expected. the two queen size beds are very comfortable. We had dinner for 4-5 people several times and the the condo never felt small or crowded. You won't find better facilities anywhere else. Mike provides a computer, internet, a multi-function printer, and free phone for Canada and the US! Mike is very responsive and very helpful, including providing us with places of interest, coming events, etc. We could not ask more of a landlord.
The location is stunning, whether your interest is the beach, restaurants, sightseeing or people watching. Of the museums, the Bass was the only disappointment. You can walk anywhere and there is a local bus that will take you anywhere in south beach for only a quarter. The bus to and from the airport is only a block away and costs $2.75 each way and is faster than driving.We loved taking the bus to Downtown Miami, then the Miami trolley, going to Versailles for excellent Cuban food and coffee. All of this to say that we had a wonderful time and would go back to this condo and also recommend it to all our friends.Thank you, Mike!

Extraordinaria locacion, aptmt exelente, muy confortable.
Esta es la segunda vez que rentamos este apartamento; desde la extraordinaria amabilidad de Mike, igual que todo el personal hacen que este sea el lugar para unas placenteras vacaciones.
Nosotros, mi esposa y yo salimos todas las tardes a caminar tanto sea por Lincoln Rd, como por Ocean Dr, rodeados de restorantes y bares solo a pasos.
Conclusion, hace 13 anios que venimos a Miami, y esta es la mejor locacion. AAA!!

My Review - Perfect
My wife, our 18 month old son and I spent a month in Mike's condo at the Decoplage this summer. It was perfect for our needs. The location is unbeatable. You are right on the beach and in the epicenter of South Beach (Lincoln at Collins) in between the Ritz Carlton and Loews. You can walk everywhere - tons of good restaurants, clubs, Lincoln Rd's walking mall, parks, etc. Everything you need is walking distance. If you do want to explore beyond South Beach, the bus stop is roughly 30 yards from the Decoplage and the $0.25 local bus stops one block away. The building is very nice and well maintained. The staff is wonderful. Also, we always felt very secure - you have to pass through security guards to get into the building. It appeared to me that most residents were owners or long term rentals and the vast majority of residents were international (European and South American). The pool was awesome. We went every single day. As for Mike's condo, it is exactly as pictured. His studio is actually much bigger than 1 bedrooms at the Decoplage because he maximized every square inch of the condo when he renovated it. The murphy beds are an example of maximizing space plus they're very comfortable. Granite counter tops and marble floors are throughout. They're very nice and clean up super easy. The condo has a fully functional kitchen (with a dishwasher) and has everything you need to cook. We ate in most meals. The bathroom is very nice and has a jetted tub. The condo has an office with computer, printer and fax for your use plus you have High speed wireless internet. As for dealing with Mike, he's certifiably a real person and he's super professional. He answered my all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. He refunded me my full deposit within a few days of leaving. We couldn't have asked for more from the condo or from Mike. I would definitely recommend and I would love to stay at Mike's condo again.

Decoplage stay at Mikes Condo
My wife and I had a had a wonderful stay at Mike Nelson's condo at the Decoplage in South Beach.The Decoplage is located in a perfect location right on the beach with "tons" of fun restaurants in walking distance.A great place for Chicagoan's to get away in the winter,we had great weather. Mike, is very professional do deal with and quick to respond to all E mails. We will be back.

Summer Vacation
My family has recently spent a month long vacation in South Beach. First, we looked at the local hotels, however, a vision of stay in rather small space for over four weeks did not seem too entertaining. Then we turn to VRBO web site to look at the condo rentals. I have to admit, I spent a bit of time browsing through different offers. Condo at Decoplage was one of the first runner ups. After second round, this condo appealed as most attractive. Very competitive price (in its class), spacious,clean and fully equipped apartment, well maintained building in the heart of South Beach, newly renowated pool (for those wavy ocean days) and steps to the ocean are the only few reasons we were glad we chose this location. Since it was the first time we rented such a property, the communication was at essence for me. Mike, the owner, was as professional as it gets. Prompt email and telephone responses as well as throughout explanation of any concern I had, confirmed we made an excellent choice.
Truly recommended place to enjoy your stay in South Beach :)
