Unwind in this stylish, sun-filled cottage nestled in a tranquil beachside neighborhood, just minutes from Newport’s stunning beaches! 🏖️✨ Designed for comfort and convenience, this retreat features a chef’s kitchen with Caesarstone countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dishwasher. With a queen primary bedroom and a room with two twin beds, this is a great fit for family vacation!

This property is professionally managed by Warner Realty Group with their office in nearby Newport. Self Checkin means you'll receive the check in instructions a day before your arrival but if you need their help, Warner Realty Group is just a call or a text away!

Starfish Cottage is just steps away from Aquidneck Avenue with it's wide variety of restaurants, coffee shops, surfshops, brew pubs and the fabulous handmade ice cream at Clementines!
If you're feeling more like being in downtown Newport, call an Uber or Lyft or walk the 2 miles into Downtown Newport. It's a beautiful walk that takes you past First Beach, the entrance to Cliff Walk and along Memorial Boulevard.

The entire cottage is for your use and enjoyment. Parking is in front of the cottage.

Enter into the open floor plan with a comfortable sectional sofa in the living / dining area. The smart tv and wifi mean you can log into the streaming platform of your choice for those rainy days or quiet afternoons after the beach.
The dining table holds four and is next to the breakfast bar which holds two. A great spot when you want to eat at home!
The private patio is secluded and has an outdoor dining area along with an outdoor shower for post beach rinse downs.

Starfish Cottage is walking distance to First and Second Beaches, as well as the variety of cafes, shops and restaurants on Aquidneck Avenue.
You CAN walk to Newport and it's a lovely walk. Uber and Lyft are plentiful in the summer and will save you the hassle of parking and the traffic.

Two bedrooms including a queen bedroom and a room with two twins. There is a shared bath with a custom walk in shower. There is also an outdoor shower for after beach rinsing.

Perfect Middletown stay

We were visiting friends who live at St George’s right up the street and the location offered everything we needed. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. We especially loved the patio table and chairs. Hydrangeas in full bloom!

Very clean. Convenient to downtown Newport. Walkable to Easton’s beach and a few restaurants. Quick drive to 2nd beach. Nice outdoor space for kids. Appreciated that beach towels were available. Highly recommend!

This place was so great! Exactly as advertised, and consistent with the positive reviews previously provided. House was perfect, Sherri was very responsive, house was fully furnished and clean, location was excellent! Not having to travel with beach chairs/towels was a definite bonus. We even locked ourselves out, and Sherri was able to have her son let us in within ~10 minutes (THANK YOU!!!). Would absolutely stay again and would recommend to all looking for a nice beach vacation in Newport/Middletown 😊

Summer in Middletown

Beautiful house. Perfect for our family of four. Nice neighborhood that was easy to get to first beach, restaurants, and stores by either walking or driving. Outside patio area was nice. Just enough grass so the boys could play soccer. Loved having use of the beach chairs and the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand! Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect!

Very clean, generously stocked (paper towels, napkins, soap, detergent, towels, etc.), and private cottage in the best location. Close to the best beaches in the Newport area and convenient to shopping and restaurants. Sherri is a terrific and responsive host. Perfect for our family of four. The side yard/patio and private parking area were also great to have for extra space for our kids. Can't say enough good things about this place. We will be back next summer! Thank you again!

Great stay near Newport

We were very comfortable at Sherri's place. The kitchen had everything we needed and we had no issues with anything. You can walk to Flo's for great casual seafood and Easton's Beach is close by. Quiet residential neighborhood only minutes from Newport. Would definitely stay again!

Great Stay Near Newport RI

We stayed at Sherry’s house for 3 nights over Memorial weekend. The house is very tastefully decorated, clean and very well stocked. We had everything we needed. Location was wonderful, walking distance to beach and restaurants and very short drive to downtown Newport. Sherry was very accommodating and super quick respond to our questions. Highly recommend.

Having a yard to come home to after a great Newport vacation day is a differentiator from our past experiences with hotels and Inns in the area. Wonderful and Walkable Location

We booked this property to attend a close family members wedding at the nearby Beach House in Middletown and the location couldn't have been better. We were able to walk to the wedding venue as well as the other rentals our family members booked in the area and let the car sit for a few days which is always nice. This unit is the back unit behind another of similar size, with parking right in front of the unit for 2 cars. The yard was a great feature and we enjoyed coffee with the local bunnies each morning. We were too busy to enjoy the bbq or games provided but both are nice features. Kitchen was well equipped and we were able to save some money by preparing breakfast and lunches at the home. Would definitely recommend!

Clean and comfortable property. Well appointed. They thought of the small details which made the experience easy and enjoyable. Brand new BBQ grill, excellent cookware, and plenty of towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and Central Location!

My husband, and 17-year-old son, and I stayed at this property for three nights and had a wonderful time! The home is very comfortable with air-conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We enjoyed eating our meals on the outside patio surrounded by trees. The best part is that you can walk to Easton Beach (aka 1st Beach) as well as to restaurants and stores along the main road. Highly recommend! Hope to return next summer!
