「Stayed whilst riding Southdowns way (mtb). Bit of a detour (8k) but not to bad. Excellent large room. Great breakfast provided in-room and excellent Thai dinner. Very fresh and generous portions (set meal). Lovely and helpful staff.」

「The location was excellent; however, the discerning differential was the outstanding staff. Damien, Reuben and Andrew manned the restaurant extremely well and attended to my every need. The housekeeping staff were also polite and extremely attentive,
Lastly, the breakfast chef was excellent.」

「Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. 」

「Nice traditional Pub with rooms located in a nice green area with some good walking trails to the Trundle (definitely worth it)... the food was great, and the breakfast was filling - staff were friendly and helpful」
