"Although the lodge we stayed in had all the amenities, it was starting to look a little tired. The gas fire was a very welcome feature after a cold and wet hike on the mountain. The Tavern served lovely food, the breakfast choice was good, the staff were very friendly and the surrounding area was stunning. The walks around the hotel were beautiful. An added bonus for us was seeing the local wombats at dusk "

"The city Park was close by and the QVMuseum not far by foot. I did not use the wifi as my security advised it was not safe! Our breakfast was not on our bill but I told the staff member we just had breakfast, so he added it. I appreciate it was busy. Loved the hotel. "
