Great location for a visit to Yosemite

Property was very well maintained and had plenty of space for our family of 5. We especially enjoyed the back deck for meals. The drive to Yosemite was beautiful, too!

This place was beautiful. Loved the pictures on the walls, the view was wonderful and beds were comfy. Tracy was so kind and it was the perfect spot for us to head to Yosemite and explore. Plus the town of Mariposa isn’t far and they have some delicious restaurants there! I would def recommend this place to any of my friends or family!

We loved our stay here and would absolutely come back again! Our only regret is that we didn’t budget a day to just check out Mariposa and spend more time enjoying the property.The home is appointed with everything you could need, and is a pretty straight shot to Yosemite in 1.25 hours. Having groceries down the road about 15 minutes in Mariposa was a real convenience being so isolated. We loved our evenings on the patio, what a gorgeous view!

short getaway and visit to Yosemite

In this rural mountain setting (yet not far from Mariposa), we relaxed as we watched the sunset and soaked in the hot tub. Yosemite is a relatively easy drive from here--and we had time to explore the Park and then relax at Sunset Roost. The home is very well equipped. We will go back!

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful experience and would for sure stay again! Extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. We enjoyed the daily visits from the turkeys too!

Amazing property

We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Roost. The sunsets were amazing and enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking in Yosemite. I would definitely would stay here again.

We loved getting to stay at the roost for our Yosemite trip! The drive to the park is easy and gorgeous and we loved spending our evenings having dinner on the patio and watching the sunset as well as taking a soak in the hot tub. The perfect place to relax after a day of hiking!

A well needed break

This has been one of the best properties I have been in; it is super quiet, beautiful, and spacious. The house has almost everything you can think of you will need even super fast internet. Really quiet and peaceful. The beds are really comfortable. I am sure to come back to get a break from city life and disconnect myself.

We visited Tracy and David’s heaven and it was just that. The house was warm and inviting as well as set up for our family to gather outside and in. The views were spectacular!!!!!! We had no trouble navigating the area.

A Slice of Paradise!

Relaxing home base for Yosemite

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. We spent our days in Yosemite (the drive to the park is beautiful )and were excited each day to come back to the house for a relaxing evening. The hosts provide everything you need in the kitchen and bath. It was very clean and the attention to detail was appreciated. Great communication with the owners. The grounds and back porch was amazing!

Peaceful and relaxing home

We stayed at sunset roost while visiting Yosemite and it was beautiful and peaceful there! The views were gorgeous, the house was well maintained and the outdoor setting and hot tub were perfect for the summer nights after a day exploring Yosemite. Our host was excellent with communication and very organized! Their hospitality was wonderful. We highly recommend and hope to stay there again in the future!

Fantastic Experience
