We fired up the cozy wood burning stove almost every day. Plus we like to cook and this kitchen was well laid out and had all the basics we needed to make some fantastic meals. The owner and property manager were super responsive and helpful."

"I would drop the ‘slip” to the name of the property since there is no slip/ lift available ; just a dock to tie the boat for the night in shallow water. Great stay over all "

"The River Lodge is gorgeous and very spacious. We were able to host our intimate wedding ceremony and dinner (30 guests) and the property was beautiful. Great place for ice fishing, close to restaurants and town but quiet in a wooded area too:) The sauna and fireplace were wonderful after a cold day on the ice. Had some great famiky time playing ping pong too! Bunk house was great, can fit alot of people. We look forward to staying here again! Thank you!"

The waterway and view of Mille Lacs was peaceful and beautiful. The fenced in yard for the dogs was an added bonus that you don't see often in VRBO rentals. "This is a cute motel. The property was clean and we had excellent communication. We were able to get an early check in when we called which was wonderful. Check in and check out was easy and convenient which doesn’t always happen with motels which have been updated. The walls are paper thin, so if you are a person that needs quiet I would say this is not the place for you. The bathroom was clean but the tub was not updated(think pink). This meant a nice big tub even if it was pink from another...
