“We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed our time in Sandusky. James was a great host although we found no reason to exercise his help. The pool was great, water was warm and refreshing. The only negative to report was the grill. It needs to be replaced.With 4 adults and one teenager the single bathroom could have been an issue but we were able to plan around it. The neighborhood is friendly and 15 minutes from major shopping in Sandusky. Very convient access. And only 15 minutes from Cedar……

“Communication with the host was virtually non-existent. The host did not provide a check-in email until I had to call the VRBO ask that they intercede in communicate with the host. We waited outside of the rental for nearly 20 minutes trying to figure the situation out. The host eventually emailed the door code and check in information. I had messaged the host days before asking about check-in cuz I had not received any information via email and no response. The rental itself was in good shape……

“The heat was off, the house was freezing. The thermostat had a low battery, had to take batteries out of a remote to get it to work. It was difficult to figure out. A large clump of hair was in the shower. The room with the bunk bed was extremely hot and the bed is loud every time you move. There was one pod for coffee and no cream and sugar. The floors in the bathrooms have soft spots, almost felt they were going to fall through. The house smelled horribly of mothballs which tells me there is a……

“The property is located in a neighborhood, but immediately in the middle of all destinations - the pier, Cedar Point, fishing, etc. The front screen door is broken and the message feature with the host is non responsive. Overall, the place did the trick and we would rent it again.”

“Host was excellent. She checked in several times to see if we needed anything. Had a wonderful time.The neighbors were great and a very safe area. Close to everything.”

“Super clean, and very convenient to the fairgrounds. The washing machine needs some work, super loud and shaky. Bathroom could use a vent fan. But other than those two small items, this place was really good.”

“Beautiful rustic but modern farmhouse. Very large square bedrooms (5) with a 6th bunkbed room for young children. A crib was added to boot. Internet worked fine for teleworking. Countryside was beautiful.”
