"When I arrived, the TV in my room only accessed one channel. A maintenance worker was sent who spent a very long time going through several remote controls and battery changes until he finally fixed the problem. He was great and his patience and diligence were much appreciated. I think his name was Edwin."

"The best-sleeping pillow and mattress. There are so many restaurants within easy walking distance. Upscale in a small-package hotel. Professional staff. Free, safe parking on site. Try Isa's French restaurant next door. The Plate is excellent for breakfast or brunch. These are so close, they share a wall with the hotel, if I remember correctly. Mel's Diner is across the street."

"Really great hotel. 10 minute cable car ride to Pier 39. hotel security was good. Door is locked at night so I need a key to get into the building. Breakfast did not come with stay. Our room had great views of San Francisco very comfortable beds. Very quiet."
