Lovely place, room was great and relaxing, staff were so friendly and helpful when we arrived, will always book this hotel again when i come back to York

Loved the property the room we booked a superior double was lovely but was in the basement and felt slightly claustrophobic having no windows was also a bit dark and couldn't get any WiFi. Having said that the facilities in the room were excellent. I would definitely visit again but select another room the hotel overall was lovely excellent staff and great breakfast and enjoyed the alfresco dining in the garden.The location was great as well just 10 minutes walk to York centre.would definitely love to visit again

Good main courses in restaurant...lovely wine room for selecting fine wines. Close to the race track

The hotel is located very close to restaurants, pubs, and a beautiful park right across the street. It’s walkable into the city center with many beautiful sites and attractions.

Great, easy access to major York tourist sites from the hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet with plentiful options. Near lots of either dining options in the old town and outside historic city gates, just down the street. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
