“Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and allowing Bravehound Lynne to come along with us. She loved your dog biscuits and says thanks! The drink and food you left for us two-legged folk were most welcome.Loved the comfortable lounge and conservatory with the homely Christmas tree. The views of the Cumbrian landscape and sheep were magnificent.The kitchen was spacious with everything we needed and we had great sleeps in your comfortable beds. “This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……

“Nicely furnished and ideally located flat with nice views. Short walk to Ambleside, very close to bus station where you can take bus rides to nearly all destinations in the Lake District. Flat has everything you need and is situated on the second floor of a nice property located in a beautiful large garden. Highly recommended!”
