Villa with pool and sea views near Etna, Sicily

Mila is a splendid villa with swimming pool situated in Milo, a small, renowned village on the slopes of Mount Etna. Set in a quiet, sunny and panoramic position, the property enjoys wonderful, relaxing views over the Ionian sea from the beautiful saltwater pool (chlorine-free), well-kept garden and spacious equipped terraces. Recently restored, this stone farmhouse evokes the atmosphere, charm and elegance of old Sicily. Spread over two floors, the cosy interior features select antiques, upholstery and local materials such as lava stone, wood, ceramic tiles. The ground floor includes a living room with fireplace, a kitchen with dining area, a bedroom with en-suite bathroom, two further bedrooms, one of which is walk through, and two bathrooms. On the first floor are three comfortable bedrooms (two with en-suite bathroom), a further bathroom and a large panoramic terrace. The villa is equipped with internet Wi-Fi, satellite TV, A/C, dryer, washing machine and dishwasher. From villa Mila can be easily reached the other characteristic villages and natural beauties of the Etna Park and the most popular towns on the Ionian coast, such as Taormina, Catania and Syracuse.Interior:Ground Floor: living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower, laundry room, 1 double/twin bedroom with en-suite shower and tub (whirlpool), 1 double bedroom (walk through), 1 double/twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower. First Floor: 2 double bedrooms with en-suite shower, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower. Exterior:Loggia, terraces, garden, swimming pool, solarium.Check-in: 16:00 - 21:00Services included: final cleaning, bed linen and towels, water and gas consumptions.Extra services (to pay on the spot): safety deposit euro 1.000 in cash, air conditioning, heating.

Lovely destination for a multiple family stay

Really beautiful property, lovely bedrooms and Stefania was an excellent host, easy to contact and really helpful. Appliances a bit tired - dishwasher did not function very well & fan setting on oven did not work but this did not detract from a lovely holiday. There is a permanent fixed hard cover over the pool deep end which limits jumping/ diving in and is not on the photos - it also affects the view. Car is essential as roads not suitable for walking.
