My wife and I wanted a simple “Crash pad” that wasn’t real expensive and didn’t offer a bunch of amenities like pool, exercise room and free breakfast. The Chalet is a rather retro “Roadside motel” and it suited what we were looking for perfectly. The buildings are pretty old, but they are well preserved. Everything worked well… the AC, TV, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, plumbing all worked! The ice machine was a bit of a dinosaur, but it made plenty of ice… The bed was comfy, the maid service was excellent and readily available… We will be back!

We were just looking for an inexpensive room for the night and that is what we got. Hotel location seemed good. Property could definitely use a remodel. Room was certainly nothing special. We could tell it was an older hotel. Hotel staff was friendly.

It is a old hotel which we stayed tonight at had to switch rooms because we came in a day early and they needed the room with two beds so we were in an older park and then a newer room that they have redone and it looks like they’re trying to maintain and keep it going nice it’s close to a lot of things there that we’re interested in so it worked out great

Nice family run motel. Have stayed here many times. A little worn, but a great value for the money. My last visit was during a heat wave with very high humidity, and the room seemed a little damp and musty - I don't think the air conditioner was able to dehumidify the room much.

The reviews are really good on here. So is my review. To be upfront, don't go into it expecting a luxury hotel suite - it isn't that. It is an older Motel style hotel with limited amenities, but it is comfortable & clean. The rooms are easily accessible, the parking is easy, prices affordable and the Crave Bar & Grill that is in the same parking lot is top notch (great food, great staff and cozy atmosphere). Internet access has been good during the few times we've stayed here so far, while TV is pretty limited to free Roku type stuff. We have more trips to the area coming up and plan to stay here frequently. If you want a comfortable, inexpensive place to stay and don't care about all the extras, you will be happy here. And seriously, walk over to Crave and get something to eat / drink!
