Amazing Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sky's the Limit. A lot of room to spread out and enjoy time with family or separately. Enjoyed the activities provided including puzzles, hot tub & pool. The view while sitting on the deck was amazing. Thank you for a great vacation stay!

Lovely Birthday Getaway

House was a perfect size for 4 couples. We didn’t feel cramped at all. Loved the large kitchen and living room and the outdoor patio was very relaxing. Would definitely stay again!

Mountain paradise!

Our family had a wonderful 5 days at this amazing cabin. There was so much to do and the views were incredible. The sunrise and sunsets were just amazing. We loved this property and the house was perfect for the five of us. Our favorite thing to do was to sit on the swings or the rocking chairs and just talk and watch the mountains and take in the view. Would highly recommend this cabin.

Everything was as expected and amazing views! On a side note unable to use the hot tub (looked/smelled funky), charged for earlier check-in and no EV charger. But everything else was great!

Fabulous views!

Great family friendly property, just as pictured. Beautiful almost 180 degree views, with large covered porches with comfortable furniture. We could easily have stayed in the cabin all weekend with amenities that included the hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, shuffle board and video games, as well as several large screen tvs, but cabin is well located, just a quick 15-20 min drive to town of Blue Ridge with railway, and a cute downtown with shops, great restaurants, and breweries. We had no issues with the property and the management team called to check on us our first day. I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Getaway

This location is amazing! We didn’t even leave the cabin and was completely entertained as well as our kids. Only thing I would suggest is that they provided a full inventory of the kitchen pots , pans, seasonings etc. By the way they have EVERYTHING! But we just didn’t know until we got there. Amazing views we will definitely be back for the fall!

Family Get Together

This cabin is stunning. The views are breath taking. Pictures do not do it justice! We have ages 12 to almost 80 in our family of 9. With all the amenities we all had a great time! Cabin was clean and well stocked. Renting was a breeze and communication was excellent! Looking forward to coming back here soon.

Loved this cabin!

There were 8 adults who stayed for my husbands 40th birthday. We loved all of the king bedrooms and the fact that each had its own bathroom. The game room, hot tub and outdoor TV/fireplace combo were our favorites. The morning sunrise off the back porch corner was stunning. Kitchen had everything we needed and there were numerous pillow choices in every bedroom. Geographically close to many restaurants, wineries, breweries and other outdoor fun. Will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Could be five star spectacular but it isn’t.

While the view location and amenities in the house were very good there are some problems. The furnace room downstairs is infested with flies and even though we tried to keep the door closed on the furnace room and the laundry room, they still invaded the rest of the house. There were also stink bug beetles in the bedrooms and actually even in the beds. The downstairs video game didn’t work so great and the outside fireplace has not been working for a while. The TVs didn’t work in some of the bedrooms and trying to locate channels was very confusing.

Beautiful Home- not so good customer service

This home is stunning and in a great location. Perfect for 3 couples- plenty of room and the had EVERYTHING you need to make it a perfect vacation. Close to downtown Blue Ridge- restaurants and shopping. Our only problem was working with the management company. They were not reliable and not very customer service oriented.

Absolutely perfect cabin for a family of 10.

This cabin really is one of the nicest, if not the nicest, we've ever stayed at. It has a view that is second to none and each of the 4 bedrooms have a recessed deck so that they are semi-private for those morning cups of coffee looking at the sunrise. It was nicely appointed with cable TV in every room and the kitchen was more than capable of provided 5 days of home cooked meals, 3 times a day, to feed our 10 family members. The location is excellent and only about a 15 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and downtown Blue Ridge. We've stayed at several cabins in this region over the years and this one takes the cake as far as size, location, and views. We would not hesitate to book it again.

Very nice cabin for families ore groups with great views

We spent a few days after the holidays with our adult children, golden retriever and mother in law. Easy check in and great communication with the rental agency. Cabin has everything you need for a mountain getaway. The pool table and shuffle board table are very nice. Large screen tvs everywhere for movies. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and large tv. Only a few minor issues- the gas BBQ grill didnt get hot enough (cold and windy night) to grill so we had to use the stove top. The game machine is kind of worn out and doesnt work great. The pilot light and controls for the main fireplace in the living room is a bit tricky. The controls are inside the metal screen almost in the firewood. We couldn't find any instructions but finally figured it out with Google. The outdoor fireplace was not working but they let us know before our trip. The place was very clean and the views are fantastic. We would stay here again.

Excellent property

My family and friends rent a cabin in the greater Blue Ridge are each Christmas season as a quiet getaway for a few days. Sky's the Limit is an excellent cabin for such a thing. The views from the back decks are simply stunning, the are is quiet, and the property is fantastic. The back deck offers varied seating to accomplish any mode/form or relaxation. Want to recline and watch the clouds? Done. Want to cook on the grill and eat on the deck? Done. Enjoy a fire? Done. Watch TV while enjoying a fire? Done and done! My only advice is that you bring your own coffee maker. The one at the house for Christmas 2022 was sub-par.

Beautiful home with beautiful views.

We had a great stay at Sky’s the Limit. Very spacious and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the outdoor fireplace and tv. Clean however the ceiling fans need some attention. Major dust and cobwebs. Hot tub would not heat up. I called property management who then connected me with the maintenance guy. After not being able to troubleshoot over the phone he said he would come up and look at it. He never showed. No broom. Minor inconveniences considering we were only there 2 nights.

Phenomenal Getaway

This is a stunning home, with every architectural detail you could want in a mountain home. The covered outdoor deck with a fireplace, TV and furniture was our favorite place. Hot tub is also on a covered deck. So rain or shine, you can enjoy the outdoor amenities. It was sparkling clean, and we didn't have any issues with that. It's incredibly large and the bedrooms are spread out, so there is plenty of privacy. This is a home that can handle a lot of people. The living room is tremendous, and the sectional sofa can handle 10 or 12 people. Beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could want. The outdoor fire pit was a favorite for the kids to roast hotdogs, and the 8 rocking chairs around it were comfortable and relaxing. It's about a 15 minute ride into Blue Ridge, but the view and scenery is well worth it. No one wanted to leave when our stay was over.

Wonderful COVID Change of Scenery

We rented Sky's the Limit simply to get a change of scenery from Florida, and it certainly delivered on that! The views are 180 degrees and stunning. We enjoyed the huge couch in the mornings and evenings for coffee and TV, the rocking chairs in the afternoon for reading, early evening happy hour and pool playing in the game room, and plenty of board games and meals at the massive dining table. The only two slightly off-putting elements of the stay were the road to get to the property and the Wi-Fi. The road is gravel, steep in a couple of areas, and at times one lane. We rented a minivan for our trip, so navigating the unfamiliar large vehicle was a bit harrowing. They advertise Wi-Fi, but be aware this is DSL-level Wi-Fi, not suitable for streaming. Understandable in the mountains; however, the speed and lack of streaming ability isn't mentioned in the property description. Given we were not going to be leaving the house much for activities due to COVID, we brought our Xbox and planned on streaming Hulu/Netflix/Disney+ for shows and movies. Unfortunately we were not able to do that, but again, the house has many other wonderful elements that made up for not being able to have movie nights. All-in-all we had a wonderful stay, and the home was perfect for the change of scenery we were looking for!
