Love the location away from the Twin Cities, close enough that you can get to events and shopping with multiple highways to choose from to get to your destination. Restaurants and gas station next to hotel. Price was reasonable.

Got to one of our rooms. Dirty bed not made, dirty towels on the bathroom floor, garbages full this was at 330pm they did not have our rooms ready for check in at 3pm as they state is check in time. Had no one to clean that room apparentky gave us a different room with one bed and a pull out couch, we booked a two bed and pull out couch. The pull out couch in the other room they gave us has spring sticking out and is flatter than a pancake. Front desk agent was rude and raising his voice at us. We came for a kids birtbday and they completly ruined our day. It states online conjoining rooms, they do not have that. Whole aspect of this place is a fail.

So…… I will start with the pros. The beautiful woman with long lashes at check in. So nice and friendly. The breakfast lady was so nice too. The manager is nice as well and helped us solve some issues. The showers have really nice pressure. The beds were comfortable enough. Breakfast was small but always had eggs and sausage or potatoes and also cold items. The cons….. the other guests that spoil the hotel. We had to move rooms because of smoke/pot smell. I mean it was baaadddd. Manager moved us to fourth floor. Much much better! If you are on the lower floors u will hear kids running and jumping and playing till late! I appreciate the low price, but it did come with a bigger price…..

Good value for the money. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere. A gas station, McDonald’s and Taco Bell are within walking distance (across the parking lot). Otherwise about a 10 minute drive to other shopping and restaurants. 15 minutes to Mall of America. Staff were great. Unfortunately they were short on facecloths for most of our stay. Breakfast was ok. Lots of poorly finished renos (patch jobs that weren’t painted over or finished to match the surrounding areas) which isn’t aesthetically pleasing but everything was functional. Average hotel, comfortable king bed, large room, decent price.

The room I was in the toilet did not work. I checked in, checked the room over before I went out. Informed the staff at front desk. They informed me the janitor would be contacted. Later I came back same condition. I used public bathroom across the hall. Same issue next two days. I checked out early and went elsewhere. Parking lot had cars all over lot was full, vehicles parked on the grass. By condition of snow it was apparent that these vehicles had been there awhile. My last day there staff told me to park in the handicapped spot. That is would be ok. So U have stayed at Country in and sweets hundreds of time. This was definitely out of character.

Everything was clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were the same as every other hotel you've ever stayed at. Upon checking in we discovered the room we booked, which i booked weeks prior and i called the day before and confirmed we had that room and informed the desk we would probably arrive around 7-8pm, was overbooked some how and now they didn't have. I have no idea how a hotel doesn't know how many rooms they have. But this is the world we live in. The very nice lady at the desk was apologetic and was able to get us into a room that was close to what we reserved. The mattress in our room needed to be replaced during the Obama administration. No cushion left and you could feel every single spring in that mattress. And finally the shower curtain in our room was about 6 inches too short for the shower so instead of the water draining into the shower it drained all over the floor. The heat/ ac worked well. Room was clean. Staff was friendly.

This hotel is a fair value and close to the airport. That’s all it has going for it. The bathroom was in bad shape, in dire need of a complete remodel. A plastic shower insert, awful water pressure, terrible caulk patching and crappy drywall patching, no towel bars. A saggy soft mattress and lots of highway noise. Breakfast is sad prison scrambled eggs on styrofoam and awful coffee. Sorry, but won't stay here again.

We had a great stay at Country Inn & Suites. We stayed the night prior to leaving for vacation. We had a great experience & the lady at the front desk was super helpful. I appreciated the helpful staff. However I was not impressed by the cleanliness. The room looked like it was not properly vacuumed and the shower looked like it had not had a deep clean in a while. The bathroom was also very different than shown in website photos and there was no bath tub. The mattress seemed quite old and had minimal support. The breakfast was as expected. Not the best I’ve ever had, but both warm and cold options available each day. The blinds in the room did not fully close, so there was lights from the parking lots shining in all night. There was only one elevator and was extremely slow. The pool area floor appeared clean. However the corners and window sills were very dirty and windows were covered in mildew. I understand that the high humidity of the pool room will create mildew, but it appeared as though no one had wiped away any grime or cleaned these areas in a very long time. Overall, I was quite disappointed in my stay with Country Inn. Will likely not re-book with them in the future.

The attendant on shift was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and modern. It had everything I needed for my stay. The parking lot was oversold, I assume by the amount of snow on the parked vehicles spots were rented for airport parking leaving not enough spaces for hotel guests. There is nowhere else in the area to park. My bed had two flat, metal brackets sticking out the side, at shin height. I cannot image what they were there for except possible extenders for a larger mattress. They protruded 6-8 inches from the side of the bed and I ran into them multiple times in the dark, bruising and cutting open my shin.

Overall, stay was okay. The pictures online looked really great! Our room was fine but you could tell they “updated” things but gave it the landlord treatment. No comforter on the bed so we were freezing all night and the bathroom didn’t feel super clean. Lots of young kids around so we heard lots of running up and down the hallways. Glad we only stayed one night.

The only issue was in our room, the shelf/coat rack was pulled out of the wall. Did report this to the front desk upon checkout. Breakfast was good. Room was quiet.

It was very cold when we entered the hotel. We still had our jackets on while waiting to be checked in so it didn’t seem too uncomfortable. Everything was great as long as I didn’t leave my room. I did take part in the amenities of the pool area, it was comfortable, one of the hot tubs were out of service, but the temperature of the water in the pool and hot tub were great. I only scored it low on the fact it was so cold outside of our room and you needed to be dressed to be in a common area. It was very cold coming back from the pool area wet. I hope in the future they can keep the heat at a comfortable level for guests.
