Amazing views and 5 min walk to the beach!

This was amazing! As a family of 5 there was so much to between the pool, beach, restaurant etc! The condo was extremely spacious and clean! Offered beach chairs as well. Will def be returning on our next beach vacation! Love love love!

Amazing condo

The condo is the nicest we have stayed. The views are incredible! Lots of space. Updated and beautiful. Comfy beds. Balcony is great. The only drawback is the beach availability. It’s about a 10 min walk and the beaches are occupied by chairs for other properties, so you have to walk a long way and they are super crowded. But the clear water makes it worth it! No complaints about the actual condo. So nice and has lots of dishes and things you need

I did see a spot or two on the couch that could be steam cleaned, but that's if I had to nitpick. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay. The location is amazing! The beds were soft with clean linens. The kitchen had nice, updated appliances. Management team was awesome. I would recommend this property!

Beautiful Hotel

This resort was beautiful the veiw could not have been better. It was a short walk to the beach with easy access. The property was clean and well maintained. Communication with the management company Vacation Haven was outstanding. We had a few hiccups on our trip but nothing that would prevent us from coming back. Someone left glass in the pool, we let someone know and they cleaned it right away. I would recommend that if you plan on visiting to bring basic spices and even maybe a pan to cook with as they leave nothing in the unit for the next guests including coffee filters. The pans that were in the unit were very used and everythibg stuck no matter how much butter or oil you used. On a positive note there were bech chairs and floaties for the kids to use in the pool and plastic Tupperware so you could bring snacks down to the pool. We used the pull out sofa for the kids and even though sheets were not left the management company provided us with access to another adjoining unit for a night and allowed us to take the bedding back to our unit for the rest of the trip. A close drive to the outlets and plenty of activities close in Destin for the kids. We loved our stay and will absolutely put this location on our list of places to come back to.

We were bummed with the check in, after being told we could get in sooner if no one was booked the night before, room still wasn't ready until four. We would have not arrived as early if that was going to be the case. Staff was great though and very responsive. We were offered 20% off to go a day earlier but did not get that offer to add a day, so we unfortunately had to head home!

Only suggestion is the kitchen was short on items. The laundry, dish washer, trash bags, only has 2 cleaning tablets, 2 trash bags, 1 dish towel, etc.

Beautiful condo unit and view

The view is amazing! The condo unit is clean and updated as pictured. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us. The pool was very cold in Oct but we did enjoy some relaxing time in the pool chairs. The walk to the beach was a little far with all of our stuff (they did provide chairs and beach items) and would have been much better with a wagon. We were a short car ride to restaurants and shops. The guests just across the hall continuously smoked (not tobacco), making the smell of the hallway horrible! Of course this is no fault of the owners of this unit. We had an issue with a man opening our door after 1 short knock and announcing himself as an inspector. I did reach out to Vacation Haven who did not apologize and gave me no explanation via text. Then I called to be told 1st that he was doing a monthly inspection and they had sent me a text (I did not receive this text), then told he was checking the air conditioner - which was not broken and he did not check. We are still unclear of why a random man opened our door using the door code during our stay. But he was an older gentleman and kind so we weren't too worried about it. Just would have been nice to receive a clear explanation and an apology from the property mangers. Overall we would stay here again. We have stayed at many properties around the area and were very pleased with the overall accommodations and price of this unit. My only suggestion to other renters would be to bring a wagon.

Great vacation spot

We spent almost a full week here and would use this condo again! It's on the smaller side as far as the living space and kitchen space but everything was updated and modernized and it contained all we needed for a week of vacation. It would be nice to have a bigger chair along with the couch to allow more comfortable seating options. The balcony was very spacious and this condo offers a lovely view...furniture on the balcony was not the most comfortable though. The master bedroom was a nice size and all the beds in the condo were comfortable. We needed 3 beds so we chose this condo because of the 2 twins offered in the 2nd bedroom along with the location to the beach, which was very convenient! Just a 5 minute walk past the pool, down a side walk and you're there! Only complaint about the condition of the condo upon arrival was all the hair that was in corners of the bedrooms and in the bathrooms. I appreciated the vacuum in the closet and broom because first thing I did was suck up the balls of hair around the entire condo. Might not be a big deal but other people's hair grosses me out! Other than that it was very clean. We appreciated having the beach chairs, toys etc so we didn't have to travel with everything. We still brought some of our own toys, balls to play with but left the umbrella and chairs at home. Unfortunately the room didn't have an umbrella as stated in the description. We managed without one but wish we had brought our own. The beach chairs were nice to have but were not the most comfortable. However, like I mentioned, it was nice to have them provided. We did not have tram passes as told in the description. All that was available were 2 fun rewards card which we did not use. I texted the owner and was told someone would bring passes to us but no one did. We probably would have only used the tram once since parking at Baytowne warf wasn't crazy super busy, but during busier in season time the tram ride would be much better than trying to park a car. Otherwise I would have asked again about the tram. While this is not the fault of the owner, I think it's important to know that the pool was not heated as stated in the resorts website. We chose to stay at Luau because of the pool over other places and didn't even use it because the water was freezing (the ocean water was warmer than the pool). That was definitely disappointing for our family. Overall, the place was great despite minor nuisances. We would come back again
