We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Surfin Sea. The beach house is beautiful and accommodated our family of 15 very well. The location and views are absolutely gorgeous. The living room furnishings are a little tired and need updating but overall we had a wonderful experience.

Perfect Family Beach Vacation

This is a perfect property and house for a large group or family looking to enjoy the Emerald Coast. The management company has concise communication, is very helpful, and provide an efficient experience. The property is in a private HOA that controls the beach front giving you a unique and premium beach experience without overcrowding or having to share your comfort zone with undesirable parties. The proximity to food and grocery is perfect.

Fabulous location but house needs attention!

Location is fabulous for beach access! The house was a big disappointment from others I have rented in past years. Home details: living room and patio furniture dirty and stained with one patio chair broken seat, wood floors are destroyed, towel racks and toilet paper holders were falling off the wall, one tv was broken and had to be replaced and tv streaming service continually kicked us off, freezer door would not open more than a few inches, multiple window panes are foggy and need replacing, and there was no mention that very noisy a/c or swamp coolers in bedrooms were needed to keep it cool. Some minor problems were taken care of in a timely manner, but this rental attention.

Fabulous Renovation!

We stayed at this rental a year or so ago and enjoyed it then, but the renovations are absolutely stunning. All of the furniture is new, clean and comfortable. Mattresses were very comfortable as well. Excellent beachfront location as well as secluded private pool. 10/10 We will definitely book this location again.

The view was incredible. The house could use a little update, maybe a new washer & dryer. But overall our experience was great. Loved the privacy. The beach was never to overcrowded. We enjoyed our stay.

You couldn't find a better location to the beaches or shopping & dinning. Located right off Old 98 & the Emerald Coast Hwy. Getting to Silver Sands Outlet, Sandestin & Grand Blvd couldn't be any easier. Great 3 story house with lots of room. This place even has a pool. The house is steps from one of the prettiest beaches in the country. Will definitely be back again!!!

Everything about the house... location, beach access, amenities...was beyond expectations. Unfortunately the owner was installing new roof shingles, and debris, including nails were around the property and a few in the pool as well. Manager was quick to respond about it though. Really a gem of a beach property.

Location is perfect . It is steps away from the ocean . Everything needed for cooking is in the house . They also have All the stuff you need for cleaning 🧹. Owner is nice and reponsive to text messages . The house is clean . The house needs a lot of updates . May need extra bedding for pulled out bed .

Perfect location!

We had a great time at this property and everyone really enjoyed our stay. The location being right on the beach was very convenient to just walk right out the back tot he beautiful white sand beach. We had plenty of room and the older boys really enjoyed having thier own little house and the adults actually enjoyed being able to sleep without hearing them at night. :) Only negative and it really didn't bother us was the house needs to have someoIn the end we had a great time. Very dated

I did not mind the property being somewhat dated in appearance, however, The kitchen was unacceptable! We had to go buy a couple of pans because I did not want to use their scratched Teflon pans. Not only did food stick to them but that is extremely unhealthy! Basic things, such as a cutting board, we’re missing. That being said, it is the best location on the beach, with direct access! We had a wonderful time!

Nice location but needs major updates

I have waited a week to write this review to make sure my perspective wasn’t affected by emotion. We rented this property for a vacation with kids and grandkids as a “bucket list” item for my wife. The cost of the rental was a little high for us but we wanted to have a house on the beach. First, Beach Reunion is a top flight host and I couldn’t ask for better communication and assistance. There is a lot of good with this property, but also major drawbacks for this price range of property. When we arrived, we noticed the cooktop on the stove was hot although the controls were all set to off. On some occasions, the cooktop wouldn’t work. We called for assistance and when the maintenance man inspected the stove, he said the control panel was faulty and he would have to see if the owner wanted to replace or not. He suggested we unplug the stove when unused and plug in when in use - of course that was not convenient. My wife and I stayed in the Carriage House and it had a moldy, musty smell our entire stay. The toilet in our room had to be plunged regularly as it clogged often. All bathrooms are in major need of an update as is the kitchen. The refrigerator was much too small for our group of 14. During our stay, there was a hard rain one day that resulted in a major roof leak that left puddles of water in the hallways. Lastly, the pool had no cleaning sweep and no one came to clean it so leaves and berries from overhanging bushes fell in the pool. The good news is the location of the property is incredible. Beautiful views and great access to the beach. My review of this property would not be so harsh but for the price of this rental. When you pay the cost of a small car for one week, you expect the rental unit to be top notch - this property is far from that - but the location and views can’t be beat.

It was a great location and a great layout for our family. However, the kitchen is in need of an update. It was well stocked but the appliances need to be replaced. Overall, it was a wonderful week!

Family vacation

Beautiful property and great location! I would stay here again if I was back in the area. There were a couple little issues that arose while I was there but the property manager was extremely helpful and kind and tried to resolve them very quickly, even offering to come by herself after hours if need be. We just stopped by their office instead because it was only a couple blocks away. But she texted to keep in touch so I really appreciated the great communication. The beach here was amazing. It wasn’t too crowded like the more public beaches and the deck from the top two stories of the home gave great opportunities for watching the sunsets and sunrises. Plenty of dishes and cookware to be able to make meals at the house, though we ate out the majority of the time. The gated community felt extremely safe and was beautiful on top of that.
