Spectacular Stay

The house was exactly as pictured and provided everything we needed for our stay! The 2 carts were an added bonus for our large party. The gated community was quiet and exactly what we were looking for.

Great stay overall. No kids, only adults but would absolutely come back to the area with our kids. Only issue we had at the house was the AC went out on 2nd floor where all bedrooms were and it was 80-90 degrees out. We checked out the day it was addressed so hoping it was resolved. Having the golf cart was great and mostly the only way we traveled while there.

We stay near Destin every summer since 2013. This was the first time staying in Sandestin and this place was so perfect! The golf cart and location made a HUGE difference from our other vacations to Destin. It was clean and the communication for any questions or issues was timely and helpful. Perfect location for us.

Parents own a house 2 houses away and when all of us kids and grandkids come we need more room so this is perfect. Kids went out the back door and to grandmas house. Golf carts were so handy.

Disappointment

Food under stove, food under loveseat, dirt and debris under sofa, black mold on ceiling in master toilet area, shower doesn't drain well, washing machine was left broken and filled with water. Master bed mattress was horrible. Grill tools outside dirty and 1 laying in the yard. Rust on stair railing. Discovered by getting all over our hands and clothing.

We enjoyed our stay at 1906 Villa Lago. The house was very clean and in great condition. Furnishing and appliances were as picturesque . We used the grill to cook dinner with no issues. Porch was lovely. The master and guest room beds were in good condition and slept great. The bunk beds were as expected. There were games and puzzles available in the living room which we enjoyed after dinner. The hot water never ran out with six people getting ready at the same time. Having two carts was very convenient and made it easy to go to Baytowne, the beach, and Grand Boulevard. The management company was easy to work with and quick to respond. Beware the HOA isn’t renter friendly which is out of the rental company’s control; however, the management company did their best to champion us as their guests. We’ve stayed in other Villa Lago/Sandestin homes previously. It is a great location for families and large groups traveling together. We would rent this home and do business with Beach Blue Properties, again.
