It's a hotel that is being extended. The staff were very attentive and sorted out any issues we had very quickly. Located in a convenient place for the beach and main drag.

Excellent location and service! Breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is expanding and adding more rooms and an elevator in the next couple of weeks will be functioning. 24/7 service and close to all the restaurants and shops. Pool is on the rooftop very private and relaxed atmosphere.

Fabulous stay at this lovely resort. Very well located a short walk to the best part of Mirissa Beach. Awesome staff - so friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast and great room. Loved the pool area. Highly recommend.

Good place, safe. They have a Great roof top pool with a view to the ocean bay. A couple blocks away. Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again

A great start to our Sri Lankan holiday. Friendly staff and good facilities. The room and public areas were clean. The only criticism is that some of the building’s external structure looks a bit in need of repair/restoration. But the overall feel of the place was good.

I absolutely loved the Emerald Bay Resort in Mirissa! The manager and hotel staff were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short and easy six-minute walk to the stunning beaches. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond, even preparing a delicious breakfast for our early 5:00 AM safari. The food was fabulous, and the hospitality made our stay even more special. This is truly a wonderful hotel with an outstanding team—highly recommend!

I appreciated the walking distance to the beach as well as staff that is just amazing! Also, the location is perfect as it is close to the beach but not right on the beach where the most of the bars and restaurants are located, while distant enough from the main road. Breakfast is nice and served with great attention by the staff that is friendly and professional despite long working hours ( most of them were there the whole day).

Didn't know what to expect when we booked way back 6 or 7mths ago. It's a shame we only had 2 nights... could easily spend longer. Hotel, is clean and spacious with staff very friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Our room is great, plenty of space, with views from the balcony over the harbour or the small hill to the nearby secret beach. Ideally located for Marissa beach or the whale watching kick of point... both in very easy walking distance. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, if fancy a change but food available here. The pool is a great addition and we certainly made use of that, with views over the harbour. Would recommend without a second thought. The small staff team are fantastic.

The hotel was excellent. Just a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the beach area, quiet, quality food and the staff were amazing. We were well looked after but left to relax as well. They are currently building new rooms so it was a bit loud when using the pool during the day but this is only temporary so I would highly recommend staying here. The pool is stunning as well.

This property is still under construction. Don't get fooled by the AI photo of the swimming pool. The property does not look great with construction materials all over the property and hammering and electric machinery waking you up early in the morning. The elevator doesn't work. The room itself was nice, but again, not nice to stay in an active construction site. I would not stay here again.

Mysigt ställe med fantastiskt personal

Sängarna var fantastiska, sov så gott. Frukosten jättestor med frukt, omelette, rostat bröd, våfflor, juice och te/kaffe. Poolen låg på 3dje våningen, lite kall men men mysig. Toppen service med beställning av både mat och dryck via whatsapp. Så smidigt! Maten tog lite tid att få men var väldigt god och fräsch. Hotellet är byggt som de flesta hotell i asien, med annan byggstandard. Om man kan bortse från detta så är detta ett toppenhotell. Personalen och ffa receptionisten var helt outstanding.

Suveränt hotell med det lilla extra

Fantastisk bra hotell med väldigt trevlig och service fokuserad personal. Kände oss enormt välkomna, blev väldigt uppvaktad då jag fyllde jämt under vår vistelse. Rent och fräscht med sköna sängar, bra AC och bra sprutt i duschen. Frukost ingick och det var en bra blandning av inhemskt och europeisk, stod en kock och fixade omelett på beställning. Vi åt middag på hotellet en kväll och det var riktigt bra. Poolområdet på taket var mysigt och poolen ren. Hotellet ligger en 7 minuters promenad från Mirissa stranden och ett stenkast från hamnen där båtar för valskådning ligger, väldigt behändigt läge för att ta sig runt. Rekommenderar varmt detta hotell.
