“When we arrived at the unit, there was no electricity. There was no accommodations made. The entire unit was electric. It was 98° and it was impossible to get a hold of someone. I am still trying to get a hold of someone I would appreciate help from Expedia in this matter.”

“Wonderful 5-day family stay at Stoneoaks. Clean and functional mountain house. Great park access from Yosemite West. Super roomy for our family of 5 (we left one room with two beds empty). Only minor inconveniences (trouble with grill and DVD player).”

“The property was adequate for our needs. Communication with onsite manager was smooth. Two points - this property was a duplex, which was not disclosed. Also, though I asked specifically about construction in the neighborhood, I was not told that a new home was being built next door to the property. This detracted from the peaceful getaway we had planned.”

The bathrooms have plenty of storage space for toiletries in the vanities. The kitchen has everything: toaster oven, blender, huge microwave. The hosts thought of every possible kitchen necessities. “Very old furnishing / fixtures. Worn furniture, uncomfortable beds with very old linen. Kitchen utensils badly need to be replace. Blunt knives, no kettle to boil water for tea, limited / old cook ware. Zero cleaning supplies, no shampoo, conditioner or body soap. In the middle of a pandemic you would at least expect surface spray and hand sanitizers. One roll of kitchen towels to last a party of 6 for 3 days. No AC, lots of fans but doesn’t help much. I would not stay here again, I expected a……

“Nice location within Yosemite. Hosts were very responsive to any question.”

“No place to unpack clothes. No hangars in closet. Bare minimum on supplies (towels, toilet paper) no broom. Acorn mgmt not customer friendly. Furnace broken at a time of year a heater was needed. Space heaters barely adequate, temp in living area in the 50’s with the one working space heater in that area cranked up to 75. Had to shovel 6 inches of snow off 36 stairs to get stuff into unit. Booked 3 nights, only stayed one.”
