Not long after making the reservation, I was contacted that the listing was being extended by the existing renters so I was moved to another location at the Host’s expense. I then forwarded this to all that were staying there and it was a complete cluster trying to get this straightened out but eventually did. 「What I reserved (6 person suite) was not provided; I was provided 1 king bed and 1 love seat (not a fold out bed). Mgt refused to give refund, very uncooperative and even combative. We had to beg for extra sheets, blankets and pillows to be able to sleep on the tile floor. Room pics advertised a jacuzzi, again false advertising. They swindle you on purpose! After check in, they changed the pics. This is a Texas inn and suites, which wasn’t obvious from their listing or pictures. TOTAL SCAM!...
「First and foremost let me begin by saying the host was very prompt and courteous. Check in is 3pm and yet they allowed us to check in at 8am after traveling for 8hrs on the road. That alone was A. Property was clean and quiet. Host checked in on us halfway thru our trip. At the end of our stay we were thanked for the stay and presented with a gift card. For this being my first time using VRBO it was a fantastic experience. You wont be disappointed with your stay here.」
「We have stayed here twice while visiting McAllen with other touring bands. The host is very accommodating and allowed us a later checkout both times. Highly recommend for a larger group of people. The neighborhood is also cute and safe. 」
