“We were looking for a new location to stay on Red Creek and picked this one due to its location/‘private’ beach. Although the beach is ‘private and secluded’ from the public it is shared with two other cabins. We were there while another large family stayed in the other cabin, making the beach not so private and noisy. The beach itself is very nice, it could use some TLC— cans, cigarettes butts, trash clean up but overall not bad. The description was misleading, just be aware it is not truly……

“We really enjoyed out stay at Scarlet Cabin! It was so quiet and peaceful. We did have a little confusion checking in but we called April and she took care of us. The weather didn't cooperate so we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities but maybe our next visit! We will definitely love to come back!”

“The property was not far from the Laurel Sports Complex. Easy in and easy out. Restful stay. Pool was being cleaned. I wasn’t aware that everyone at the property needed to be listed on the registration. So I did need to go back on the vrbo and type in my 9 yo granddaughter name and message hostess.”

“Wendel’s Place was the perfect place for my family to spend a relaxed week on red creek with my family. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable and location is to die for. It’s quiet with a great view of the river and you can easily float from the cabin to City Bridge in two hours (good trip for small kids). We will be back. Probably soon.”
