"Out dated rusty fixtures. Linen's & decor were from the 70’s. Lampshades were crinkled & old. It smelled musty & mildewed. Charming on the outside but The Hotel needs updating. We booked a king bed but were told “our” room had water damage so we were given “double beds” on the lower floor, no elevator. The beds were comfortable & it was quiet. Parking is easy access. We felt safe but it Is what it is. Basic accommodations. "

"We booked this stay mid May for May 28. When we got there, the entire hotel was shut down and we had no place to go. Hotels.com eventually found us a new place thirty minutes away, and paid the increase in price. The hotel apparently had been shut down for a month due to a triple homicide on the property that included the owner and two staff members. The entire experience was horrible.
