Don’t stay here. Tile was falling off wall in bathroom, floor tile missing grout, grout in shower black (mold?). Every step in the room above produced a thud. We could hear their conversation.

DIRTY! When I walked into my room I was immediately confronted with a wafting smell of urine. There was literal dirt on the floor that I could see. It was disgusting. Do not waste your money or time here.

This was a shockingly bad experience. The door to the room was totally broken, and the desk staff totally knew and didn't care. The handle literally came off in my hand. The door frame was also rickety and we had to push a chair up against the door when we went to bed. Neiter of us slept well, unsure of our safety. Zero stars. I'd like a total refund.

I will start with the positive(s) -the staff was very friendly negatives -the room was kinda stinky -most of the lamps did not work -most of the outlets did not work -the bathroom doesn’t have a fan -the pillows are very tiny -the doors and frames are all very dirty -the sinks were dirty -the window curtain rod was on the verge of breaking the whole time

When we arrived, the room was dirty. There were muddy footprints in the room, the toilet was clogged, and there was poop in it. We were disgusted and immediately left.

The room I stayed in was kind falling apart. The drapes barely closed, which means people could see in your room, which someone did, and laughed at us chilling in our room. It was unnerving. Not to mention the doors are difficult to open. The beds were very hard/firm. I wouldn’t stay again. I only did because it was cheap for a one night stay. But I’ll definitely spend the extra $30 or more a night to stay elsewhere next time, especially with kids.

We won’t be coming back. No shampoo or soap in rooms. Requested non smoking rooms and got one smoking. The attendant said she wasn’t allowed to change the room until the other person came on duty. Had to wait until about 10 pm.

The Red Lion in my town is a fairly nice hotel, so I thought I was getting a deal... But this particular location is just a bargain motel that maybe recently got a fresh coat of paint and new furniture. The door was stuck, the room had a really harsh cleaner/chemical smell, and the shower looked sketchy enough that I didn't use it. The A/C window unit was falling apart and the blinds didn't fully close. It was a place to sleep for the night but it did nothing to help the Red Lion name.

Older motor inn that is clean and well kept. Our room was very clean and bathroom spotless. The mattress was comfortable as well. We never participated in the free breakfast which looked to be very modest, but the small eating area was very clean and tidy. Overall our two night stay was very good. For the price, it is a nice place to stay, and it is right next to Providence Hospital.
