"Clean rooms and great staff. Check in was at 4pm but our room was not ready for 30min. Strange odor in bathroom possibly from drain… Great Location but probably would not stay again."

"We stayed at this hotel for just 2 nights, but we were absolutely delighted! First of all, I would like to commend the staff for their flawless service. We were welcomed at check-in by a very pleasant, friendly, and sweet young lady who processed everything quickly and instantly cheered us up after our journey. The room itself was sparkling clean. The bed linen was crisp, fresh, snow-white, and very comfortable to sleep on. We were especially impressed by the housekeeping: even though our stay was very short, the room was thoroughly cleaned after the first night. The staff didn't just tidy up; they completely replaced the towels and replenished all the toiletries (shampoo and soap). This level of attention to detail and care for guests is hard to find. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of service and cleanliness. We will definitely come back again! Thank you so much for the warm welcome!"

"The Beachnest in Santa Cruz was the perfect rental for our family trip to the coast. The property is located just 2 blocks from the beach in a very peacful and quiet neighborhood. The backyard space was amazing and allowed for games, meals and hanging out. There are bikes, sand toys, and games which really make the stay more enjoyable. Plenty of activities, beaches and coastline to explore just down the road. Highly recommended. Keep in mind there is a 400 tourism charge from the local government that may or may not be disclosed up front, but after spending time in this beautiful part of the California coast, it's understandable."

"☆☆☆☆☆ This is your choice for a great hotel in santa cruz. It's a simple breakfast, the hotel itself is an island paradise, the rooms are comfortable clean and cared for! Very friendly and professional at the desk and the property staff were sweet and a tad on the shy side. The spa (6) area is small and quiet. A really nice hidden gem. Lots of restaurants, 711, gas, parish pub, a safeway shopping center, and they are all within short walking distance. If you had straight to the ocean , go two blocks north, you'll hit the west cliff drive tide pools. 5 minutes to natural bridges north, 7 minutes to santa cruz beach boardwalk south. Ps costco less than 10 minutes away. High five and chakas. Very satisfied."

"This location was great and the staff was excellent and the rooms are very clean. Also they are pet friendly and have bags for pet and are for Fido to go. However There were some rude guest who are irresponsible dog owners and so pick up after fido. However I definitely stay here again and I would recommend it 5 stars great place."
