"Rooms were excellent and staff as well. They locked our bikes up in storage so that we did not have to lug them upstairs. Rio Vista is a real find in Santa Cruz. Will stay there again. A really great value."

"Stayed a few days with kids and little dog. Nice hotel that is close to a lot of things. The staff are very friendly. Check in was a breeze. The included breakfast was good. Included the basics but that’s all you really need. They have a nice little coffee/tea area that is available all day. Our room was clean and comfy. The shower is a little strong so be careful. If this place had a swimming pool it would be 5+. We would definitely come back though. They have a great pizza place across the street and a an ice place a short walk down the street. Oh 7-11 is also across the street for some snacks etc… "
"10/10 from the valet, to the check in, to the amazing hotel lobby, and the immaculate room. Ocean view King suite was so luxurious and worth it! My new go-to hotel for visiting Santa Cruz."
