Great Get Away For Large Group

The house was everything we expected and more. There was generous sleeping space and the kitchen as well stocked. The great room in the barn area was perfect for our family to play games and enjoy each other‘s company. Loved the back porch and outside area! Would definitely stay in this property again!

Beautiful home for a large family getaway

This beautiful home is removed from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Set back off the grid (literally) it was an excellent escape for our family to spend time together just visiting and playing games. I would recommend this place for any large family getaway that you are planning - it has everything you need!

We had a small church youth weekend retreat. The place was ideal: Plenty of space to spread out, 5 bathrooms, plenty of places to gather as a group, plenty of sleeping accommodations, and nice big dining tables to share a meal together. We had snow and low temps for the weekend, but with the big screen TV, ping pong, billiards table, foosball, corn hole, and piano, there was plenty to keep entertained. If this place is available for our next retreat, we're booking it!

90th Birthday Weekend

We had a wonderful time! It was great to find a property that was able to sleep 23 family members with plenty of bathrooms! A bonus was that it was located within two and a half hours for the majority of us! The kids and teens had so much fun playing pool, ping pong, and hide and seek!

Family Weekend (parents-siblings and our kids)

Very secluded with a beautiful view. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The common areas were spacious with plenty of activities within the space. Our weekend ended up being very rainy, however the covered porch and indoor activities kept us busy. The oversized kitchen and cooking area with seating for our whole group of 20 was perfect. Refrigerator was a double and there is a small freezer. The house is full stocked. Just bring yourselves.

A++ for Eagle's Crest Lodge

Eagle Crest Lodge was the ideal spot for our 17 member cousins' reunion. With 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (1 shared by 2 bedrooms), there was room for everyone to be comfortable. The large kitchen allowed us to prepare and serve a full Thanksgiving meal and the extra tables and chairs meant we could set up a dining configuration in the garage (much nicer than it sounds) where we could all gather without being separated from each other. Four separate, cozy sitting areas contained books, games, a fireplace and piano. This rental is stocked better than most homes - everything from roasters and crockpots to a myriad of towels and cooking utensils. There were outdoor games (corn hole, giant Connect Four, croquet, etc., as well as a pool table and ping-pong table. An outdoor basketball hoop and swingset/wooden climbing boat completes the activities available.The upper deck spans Eagle's Crest and the front porch contained numerous chairs to relax in and enjoy the amazing views. Lastly, the fire pit was enjoyed each evening. Although wood is available, we brought extra, as well as outdoor chairs. What a way to end each day - listening to the sounds of the nearby forest, telling jokes and being mesmerized by the flames!Can you tell that we highly recommend Eagle's Crest?!

Christmas Getaway

The cabin is beautifully decorated, cozy, and spacious, providing plenty of space for our larger group to sleep and relax. However, we did encounter a few issues during our stay. The Lennox temperature units were inconsistent, working sporadically, which resulted in uncomfortable temperatures in some rooms. Additionally, the projector system did not function as expected, which was disappointing as we had planned a family movie night. Lastly, there was an infestation of Japanese beetles. While not a dealbreaker, it was somewhat inconvenient, especially with young children present.We would consider booking again because the space overall was great for our needs!

Great place for a large group

It looks just like the pictures! It was clean and smelled good. The giant refrigerator was perfect since we brought a lot of food with us. There was a lot of dining seating in one room so we weren’t separated. The fans on the porch are a nice touch. We appreciated all the towels and blankets so we had all we needed. The AC units in each bedroom made us all happy. We never found jumbo trash bags so that would have been good to have available or let us know to take with us. The bags we brought would not fit their trash bins. Same with a dish sponge, we assumed one would be available. The property manager was great and responded to all our questions quickly. We had a wonderful vacation and this house did not disappoint!
