In winter, the location is ideal for skiers: The Panorama cable car's mid-station is right outside the door, providing ski-in/ski-out access to the Kitzbühel ski area. Cross-country ski trails begin just across the street.

In summer, the surrounding area offers a variety of hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Four golf courses in the Kitzbühel and Mittersill area are approximately a 10-20 minute drive away. Several restaurants are within easy walking distance.
