Mesa Arch Cabin #22 at Edge of the Desert is your happy home base in Moab! This fun, pet-friendly cabin sleeps 6 and features a private bedroom, cozy loft, full kitchen, and private patio with a grill. Just 1.5 miles from downtown and minutes from Arches and Canyonlands, it’s the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and soak in the red rock magic!

Edge of the Desert is conveniently located at 1251 Millcreek Drive on the east side of Moab, offering the perfect balance of easy access and peaceful surroundings. Just minutes from the Sand Flats Recreation Area, you’ll be close to some of Moab’s most iconic outdoor experiences—including mountain biking trails, Fins & Things, and the legendary Hell's Revenge off-road route.

The area is a unique mix of residential and commercial, giving you a sense of community while still being close to restaurants, shops, and all that Moab has to offer.

Whether you're here to explore, relax, or both, you'll love our central yet quiet location as your launchpad for adventure.

Getting Here

Edge of the Desert is just 1.5 miles from the heart of downtown Moab—a quick 3 to 4-minute drive to restaurants, shops, and local attractions.

✔️ Arches National Park is only 5 miles north, with an easy 10 to 15-minute drive to the park entrance.
✔️ Canyonlands National Park (Island in the Sky District) is about 35 miles away, and typically takes 45 minutes to reach by car.
✔️ For a more remote experience, the Needles District (south entrance of Canyonlands) is around an hour’s drive from our property.

Whether you’re here to explore the parks, cruise the trails, or enjoy downtown Moab, you’ll find that Edge of the Desert puts you right where you need to be.

The tiny home was roomy and a comfortable, clean place to stay. The location is a little farther from Moab than anticipated and also right on a busy street so it was a little noisy when sitting on the outside deck but we still enjoyed our time there.

Great Stay at Edge of Desert

This was a great property to stay in during our national parks visits. The location wasn’t great in terms of neighborhood, but the home was very clean, plenty large enough for the two of us (more would be kind of cramped) and very clean. After staying in hotels for a week it was a great change of pace with good outdoor space.

Checking in and out was a breeze! Multiple units great for family

We had three units for multiple family members which was great in that each had their own “place” but we could get together at times. Very clean units , AC worked great! I would highly recommend this rental, owner always responded promptly to any needs. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Moab.

We came in town to do the mighty 5. This was a wonderful place to stay! Everything was easy from booking to check in to check out! Very convenient to everything in town and all the parks! Cute tiny house

This tiny house Mobile home was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well set up—dishes, pots and pans—everything necessary for cooking for ourselves. The loft is not tall enough for an adult to stand, but was nevertheless comfortable for sleeping …. The other bedroom was regular height. Both beds were comfortable. Great place to stay.

Great tiny house!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tiny house. My son especially loved the loft and his very own big TV! It was a perfect spot to relax after a long day of exploring and hiking the national parks! Would definitely stay here again!

Disappointed stay

Not clean enough for me. I spilled a little water on kitchen floor and when I wiped it up, paper towel was black. There was a rug in front of the sofa that was very dirty. First time we have ever been disappointed in a VRBO rental, and we have stayed in several. Would not recommend.
