“One of the nicest hotels we stayed in on our trip. Clean, comfortable beds, quiet and private. Loved the patio. Didn’t enjoy the parking or getting locked out at 3am. Those two things need work.”

“Everything was exactly what they said it would be. Very clean open spaces rooms and amenities to die for. They use Dove body products and I have very sensitive skin so I highly recommend you not wasting money on soap. I’m leaving back to dry Vegas and I will miss the hospitality. They could have switched up the breakfast but it was free so it was ok with me. 10:10 recommend”

“Clean and roomy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good.”

“The rooms had a stale smell. The plugs in the bathroom did not work. The mattress & sheets had stains on them. There were roaches in the rooms. My niece also stayed & we both had to leave. No way we were staying in those conditions. When we tried to get a refund they rudely told us they do not do that. When Expedia contacted them the denied it all & said they offered us a new room. For us they did not but they did for my niece & it was just as bad. Stay far, far, far away from this place! ……

“I stayed at the Renaissance in Mobile for a girls’ trip and really enjoyed my stay. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We had a river view room where we could see the Amtrak train and the cruise ship, which made the view even better. I also liked the added security of needing a key card to access the floors. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout the stay. They do offer breakfast, although I didn’t get a chance to try it. My only downside was the parking……

“Staff were excellent. The AC was broken in the lobby area for 2 days making the bar/ food experience horrible. The lobby area and outside are beautiful. When you get to the rooms, not so much. Old rooms, need updating, air doesn’t cool in the rooms that great. Rust on most of the appliances/fixtures/faucets. Room service came as they should. Not a bad place to stay but don’t be fooled by the pictures online.”

“Old hotel. No restaurant or bar on site. Parking was fine. Very New Orleans style courtyard. For one night it was fine. It was clean.”

“The staff was great from beginning to end, starting with the gentleman who checked me in on arrival. He let me know that breakfast was available in the morning and gave me voucher for breakfast, food was good and when I returned to my room from being out all day my room was clean and re-done, the cleaning staff was on the ball. Appreciate the hospitality all staff showed me.”

“Enjoyed my stay again. Not having ice available on floors was not convenient. We had to go to front desk each time for ice.”
