Cute cottage/better next time?
We loved the cottage although it left a few things to be desired. On our first night, we ended up sleeping on the sofa in the living room because the smoke detector in the bedroom kept screeching, even after we removed the battery. Someone from maintenance came the next morning and replaced the battery but it continued to beep so we disconnected it. Then others started beeping so we disconnected all of them. I guess it was the weekend the batteries were due to be replaced. On the day we arrived, the entire yard was overgrown and covered in weeds, we had to ask when it could be mowed. Thankfully, someone came and did it the next morning while we were out. Some things this place lacks…. A pizza cutter, barbecue tools, briquettes and starter fluid for the bbq, a curtain or blinds over the exterior French door in the bedroom. The drains in both sinks and bathtubs were slow/clogged and the tub stopper didn’t fully work. I had to keep the water running while I had a bath to keep it full enough. And the ants in the kitchen were rather disturbing. With all of that said, we’d still consider booking it again as long as some of those issues were addressed and fixed. We enjoyed the character of the home, the storage space, the view from the deck, and the proximity to drive-to beaches, small shops and Seabrook. And we did receive partial reimbursement for our sleepless first night.

Nice and quiet
The cottage was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. It would have been nice if you could walk out to the ocean through the gate but the drop off was a bit much. The claw foot tub is adorable but dangerous to climb in and out of, especially if the tub was wet. It is quite slippery.

Fantastic Getaway!
Everything about this little cottage by the sea was fantastic. My only complaint is that we couldn't find sheets for the pull-out bed. They were not located where the listed stated and we couldn't find them anywhere else. That being said, we WILL be returning to this exact cottage.

Ants!!
The check in process and initial cleanliness of the rental were fine. Right away though, we noticed small black ants throughout the house. The kitchen and living room were the worst, but really the ants were everywhere. The ant situation ultimately erased any positives that we could have experienced with the property. Our kids where probably the most bothered by the ants, but I think my biggest beef is that the ants ended up in our things ( suitcases and personal items). So they ended up in our car:( I hope you will make it right because the ants ruined our stay. We had read previous reviews that mentioned the ants, but we naively assumed that management would exterminate the ants before continuing to rent the property.

The setting was just as we had hoped. This quaint beach house and ocean view did not disappoint!! Some friendly suggestions: -More towel hooks in the bathroom and a caddy in the shower would be helpful. -Mowing the yard would be a nice touch unless of course your feeding the bees 🐝 then we understand. -The extension cord across the floor for the washer might be better to leave unplugged with instructions for use. Tripping hazard. -House keeping may want to wash blankets in smaller batches, as one of our comforters was soiled. - The Light attached to wall in bedroom may have a short. It was flickering , so we unplugged it. None of this would deter us from coming back again. And we’d recommend this place to friends and family!!

This place was perfect. The location is great for day trips to various attractions along the coast. In the evening, we enjoyed watching the waves on the back deck. It was nice having Wi-Fi service when it rained. We loved everything about this place!

Great getaway for two
If you enjoy a beautiful rustic beachy theme (as we do) you'll love this recently remodeled Cape cod style cabin. Impeccably cleaned, with updated appliances and fixtures this cabin is tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. The view is amazing, bring your binoculars. The yard is spacious and very private. The trees help block the wind. The beach is driveable with access a short drive away. A few tiny ants may show up in the kitchen in the morning but not really any problem if you clean up at night. We noticed from the pictures that the bedroom glass door didn't have blinds so we brought a fabric sheet. Though the only way anyone could see in is if someone were in the back yard. It appears they are in the process of installing blinds. the TV is very nice. It's a ROKU TV with HDMI inputs. I brought my computer with 25' HDMI cable so we wouldn't need to register the TV on our Netflix etc. accounts. The volume buttons are on the side of the remote. They have added plenty of power receptacles all over, the heat is very efficient and the tankless water heater means you'll never run out of hot water (it takes a while for the hot water to reach the bathroom). The tub has high shower head and a handheld (the ON button for the handheld is hard to find but I'll not spoil the mystery). We contacted VRBO management after hours with a question and got an immediate response. We've rented 7 vacation houses over the years and this was one of the most enjoyable.

Lovely View
Such a sweet beach cottage with a lovely view overlooking the surf. We were warm inside after short cold weather excursions, enjoyed the comfortable furniture/sleeping arrangements, and the full service kitchen. There were quite a few sugar ants inside, the floors were a bit dirty upon arrival, and the lawn was too long for my toddler to walk in, there was quite a bit of dust on some surfaces and a vent in the hall. Even so, I would rent this cottage again and enjoy the stay.

Great get-away!
We were visiting and touring the entire Olympic peninsula so this was our third place we were staying during our visit and it was great! Recently updated and very comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again!(actually wished we had more time to lounge on the deck and enjoy it more!)

Cutest bungalow ever!
I loved this place! Decor was gorgeous and loved the beach view. Well stocked with kitchen utensils and dishes for our 3 day stay. Couldn’t find the gas grill and had no way I could find of communicating with the property owner. But we found the best town a few miles down the road with spots to eat so we didn’t need it. If I’m ever in this area again I’ll definitely stay here!

Lovely Stay, with a couple of hiccups
My family enjoyed our stay. The pictures were very accurate. My kids were sad to go. We were very close to the beach. Waking up every morning and looking at the ocean was very relaxing. The backyard is quite big. Moclips is a quick drive to Ocean Shores and other neighboring towns. I am trying to determine when we should schedule for next year. Feedback regarding both doors to the back yard. The deadbolts worked well, but the other locks were loose. It needs a screwdriver to tightened the screws. It was very difficult to lock those doors at night and when we left for the day. The house is a lovely cottage.

What you see is what you get
Unplugged and quiet. Perfect little house to get away. Simply furnished and comfortable. Beach access close by or enjoy the sunset from the back deck. Kitchen has all the amenities of home. Perfect location as a base for day trips.

Excellent Home!
We stayed at this lovely and well equipped beach house. The unobstructed views over the dunes to the ocean were amazing. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen of any vacation rental we have used before, in fact the entire house was well stocked. There was never any utensil, towels, item etc. that we were left needing. The location and views are fantastic!. Everyone in the family enjoyed it and we felt at home during our vacation. We would highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat! Thank you!!!

The cabin sits on three lots overlooking the ocean. While there is no beach access from the property, there is plenty of privacy, a wonderful view, and the cabin is nice and comfortable.

We loved this cottage and plan on renting it again. It had everything we needed and was peaceful and wonderfully decorated. The only downside was that they had the tankless water heater set to cold for me.

Minor repairs still need to be made.
The home was very comfortable. There were a few minor issues, no working outlets in the bathroom. Very sensitive smoke detectors, could not make any breakfast without smoke detectors going off and unable to shut off. Breakers blew when microwave was plugged in, no curtains or blinds on bedroom door for privacy. Other than that everything was good. Yes, we will be staying another time.

Great location with view
I so wanted to love this place... but unfortunately it had some missteps. First of all the location was great. Even though it’s on a main street, it was not noticeable because of the ocean view from the back of the house. But, the outlets in the kitchen didn’t work so no functioning microwave or coffee maker along with some of the living room lights. I called Vacasa the first day in hopes that they could fix, but no one ever replied back... and continued to not work for the remainder of our stay. We found some food leftover on plates that were stacked on the shelves and food residue on some of the drawer handles. That was a bit concerning that the place wasn’t carefully cleaned.

Great yard and location
This property was perfect for a weekend getaway. Beautiful backyard that overlooks the ocean, and a short 2 min drive away from beach access. Amenities were pretty basic and the dishwasher ended up not working, and there was no grill, but overall for the price and interior of the place it was a great find.

Great spot - not great communication from vacasa
The house is really lovely, bed was comfortable, yard and view are amazing. The waves are SO loud from the house, it's very cool. Also - just a quick trip to downtown seabrook. Some negatives: - Fuse had blown in multiple rooms before we arrived, so the living room lights, kitchen lights and tv were not functioning. We were able to locate the fuse box and fix it ourselves, but never heard back from the property manager/vacasa when we reached out about this problem - The kitchen sink didn't work. We had to wash dishes in the bathroom sink or not wash them at all. Unclear if the dishwasher was effected. I reached out to the property manager/vacasa on both these issues within an hour of checkin. I heard ZERO reply. Still haven't heard anything. We are pretty easy going and were able to make due but the lack of communication was concerning. Also - it worried me how the cleaning crew was able to clean the house without a functioning kitchen faucet. That would limit things I would assume.

Beautiful cottage with a view
The property is as advertised- cute ocean cottage with a fantastic view of the ocean from both the living area and the bedroom. Only drawback is that there is no shoulder on the road so it makes walking the short bit to the beach access a bit treacherous. The beach itself was beautiful and not crowded at all. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Cleaning could have been a bit more thorough (under bed, food left on top of fridge from previous renter). Overall and amazing property and we highly recommend!
