“What a phenomenal place to stay! The lighthouse has been totally updated with a very cool design vibe and comfortable porches all around with views and plenty of fresh air. The proximity to great food and drink (Fitzgerald’s—highly recommended); things to do and see in the beautiful UP; golf; antiquing; beach walking; Jampot; card games; books in the rental—we loved it and will return, hoping next summer!”

“Perfect little place to stay in the kewanaw. Convenient and most importantly-- clean! Our first night in the U.P. was in a nightmare of a cabin infested with mice. Tonight we are in a 3 bedroom house in wakefield that looks good, but smells like urine. The little brown house was neat, updated, comfortable and had everything that you expect in a well kept, well run rental.The Little Brown house beats the pants off these other places because of the cleanliness and simplicity of the property.The……

“The cottage was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to see lakers/ships pass in front of the cabin when the weather was clear as well as see stars from inside the cabin with the large picture windows. There is one bedroom with a double and twin bed and there was a king bed in the master bedroom which was very comfortable. I do not normally sleep well when out of town because the beds aren't comfortable but the mattress was very comfortable and I slept great. We were also……

“Beautiful location; short walk to the beach and pretty centralized in the Keweenaw Peninsula, so it's convenient for seeing the whole area. Not much to do in Eagle River, but we liked how calm town was so you could go see the rest of the area and come back and relax. The house is the perfect size for a small family or group and the decorating makes it feel comfy and inviting. ”

“This really is a great location. It's close to various shops and restaurants. Its right next door to a grocery/ convenience store, very helpful. The house was very clean upon arrival and it had everything we needed. The owner even had some snacks set out and beverages in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The owner was very responsive to emails and questions. We will definitely be back next summer. We had a great time. ”
