"My wife & i stayed at Tara Gardens for 16 nights. The villa was so peaceful & tranquill. The grounds were a joy to walk around, we would listen to birdsong in the morning & watch families of monkeys passing through in the afternoon. The pool was a great size & cleaned every morning. The staff were amazing, seeing to our every need. Chami would take us out any time of day in the tuk tuk & Pradeep would see to our evening meals on our return. The gardener & his wife would suprise us with a fresh coconut drink & kept the grounds tidy. Sudu the manager was an excellent host with local knowledge who would take us out in the mini bus for special trips. If you are looking for a relaxing retreat with lots to see & do on the island then this is the place."

"We had the entire five‑bedroom villa for a family celebration, and it was the most relaxing and beautiful place we stayed during our trip to Sri Lanka this year. From the manager to the chefs and domestic staff, everyone was excellent. I must mention the Sri Lankan food prepared by the in‑house chefs — it was second to none, and they were more than happy to cater to our requirements and taste. They simply couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely return on our next visit to Sri Lanka."
