The Space: Olivo Nomade 1 by Tiny Away is situated in the middle of an olive grove in Provincia di Rieti, Italy. Just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Rome, these tiny houses are set among fruit trees, wide-open skies, and peaks of Mount Terminillo.
Discover natural attractions nearby our mobile homes like Lago del Turano and Lago del Salto, Marmore Waterfalls and Monte Terminillo. Wander through Centro Storico di Rieti, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and Abbazia di Farfa.
A cozy 221-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, a hand basin, and an electric-heated shower.

Guest Access: Guests can access the tiny house and its surroundings, except for the land host's private residence.

Getting Around: By Car:
- From Rome, it’s about a 1-hour drive (60 km). - The nearest larger town, Poggio Mirteto, is 20 minutes away (20 km). - The road is suitable for a standard 2WD vehicle.
By Public Transportation:
- Take a train from Rome to Poggio Mirteto Scalo. - From there, catch a local bus to Mompeo (note: only three buses run daily). - Mompeo village is a 5-minute walk from the accommodation.
If you plan to visit nearby towns, having a car is highly recommended. There’s no taxi service in the area, but the host can provide a ride to the train station for an additional cost.
By Flight:
- The nearest major airport is Rome Fiumicino (FCO), approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes by car. - From the airport, you can either rent a car or take a train into Rome, then follow the public transportation route above.
Other Things to Note: - Wifi is available. - Charcoal BBQ grill is available. - Mobile reception has good signals. - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed. - No smoking inside, except in designated areas. - Please note that longer stays or late check-outs will incur an extra charge. - Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.
Important note:
- Barbecues are not allowed during fire bans. - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
