"The other 5 star reviews do not reflect this property. We booked a weekend stay. Planned on cooking our meals here and relaxing. When we arrived A/C not on. Then when turned on a/c not cooling/blowing much, tried to turn on additional a/c. No power to the unit as the plug did not work. Found that most plugs were not working and had black electrical burn on them. The only plug we found that would work got extremely hot in the short time it was used to charge a phone.Toilet did not hold water. In a camper, the toilet must hold water in order to flush and keep the smell of the holding tank from coming back up. Toilet had urine on it. Not disclosed in ad of property. These reasons above were the deciding factor of us leaving the property. We did not feel safe enough to sleep with electrical issues.There were many other issues we could have worked around. The gas stove was in bad shape to use for cooking.This was not disclosed in ad for property. Neither host nor VERBO would refund even after sending pics to VERBO. Renters beware.1 "

"Unfortunately, our experience at this rental was far more stressful than expected. We were unable to access the home on the first day and had to wait outside in the heat for over an hour, which forced me to find and pay for a last-minute hotel for my recovering father — who had just undergone major surgery.The property had issues with the locks, which made us uncomfortable leaving or locking the doors. My father ended up leaving the doors unlocked during the stay because he was worried he wouldn’t be able to get back in. Secure access should be a basic expectation for any rental.I also had to clean the property myself — including taking out trash from the previous guest, stripping beds, and cleaning the toilets — to make it suitable for my father to stay. I even helped troubleshoot appliances at the host’s request.While the host initially acknowledged the problems and promised compensation, they later attempted to retract that offer, which was disappointing and unprofessional. Given the stress we endured and the effort I made to help maintain the property, I expected better follow-through and accountability.This could be a decent rental under different circumstances, but I would not recommend it to anyone expecting a smooth, reliable, or supportive experience — especially if traveling with elderly or medically vulnerable family members."

"This location was perfect for my family of 13. The kids had a ball. They woke up ready to get in the pool every morning. The adult's enjoyed themselves on the screen in porch and it was located on a different level from the kids. This place is so spacious. Despite the frogs, spiderwebs, and bugs(which should be expected next to the woods) we had a good time. I will stay here again. It came with everything you need. I traveled with a lot of extra things because i never stayed at an airbnb that supplied you with everything.Communication was great. The kids had their on level with a movie and game room. Anytime i can travel and the kids dont work my nerves is a plus for me. It was just that spacious."
