"Tower home means the rooms are small, and there are four of them with a narrow spiral staircase from one to the next. Understand that going in. The hosts are excellent. They really went the extra mile to help us find the place and get into it late when we had aircraft problems and were very late arriving. The place has excellent views, is right next to the ocean, and close to the downtown area."

"Our family really enjoyed this property in Le Spezia. We arrived really late on a train, yet Renata (our host) arranged her colleagues to meet us and acquaint us with the property. The patio was lovely to eat breakfast on and there was plenty of space for our family of six. Renata was even kind enough to stock our fridge with a few food items for breakfast! This location worked very well for us to do a day trip in Cinque Terra and we would definitely recommend it."

"We were so pleased to find a rental located in the quaint village of Corniglia. The place was clean and the terrace on the rooftop had breathtaking views of the coastline. We did not receive check in instructions until the day of arrival so we would have preferred communication in advance. The showers are quite small and there are steps to manage with your luggage but we managed without any difficulty. We were overall very pleased with the rental and would visit again."

The hosts are available and friendly and even though it is attached to another vacation house they have made it easy for all with separate parking and entrances so you feel like you are in a private place. You definitely need a car in this area. The roads are winding and drop offs steep as one would expect in the mountains. Two towns...

We particularly enjoyed the location - close to the main square/beach/restaurants etc, but also it felt very 'Italian', it is a very pretty and historic part of town. The apartment itself is fine (it had not been cleaned when we got there, but perhaps we had got our timing confused). There were a few minor wear and tear issues (torn shower curtain etc), but overall it is a very functional and well equipped place - we were particularly grateful for the beach...

"We stayed here for three nights (in Oct 23) of our month vacation in Italy. This was one of our favorite stays. The view is stunning, & we enjoyed dinner and drinks from the roof top watching the sun set. This is on the top of the cliff but the walk up was pretty easy, it’s just up a gentle sloping walkway from middle of town. The multiple levels in the apartment were no issue for us…we are 61 & 57. The apartment had portable air conditioners that worked great. In fact we are going to buy some...

"We had a wonderful week with our 2 children here. The house has a fantastic view of the sea and is located on a quiet private road so it felt very safe and secluded. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the terrace was a great place for meals with a view. The local towns of Lavagne and Sestri Levante provided plenty of shops and restaurants and we were able to do a boat trip to Portofino and a day trip to Lucca in Tuscany. Highly recommended. We will return!"

"Huset var mycket vackert beläget men inte helt lätt att ta sig till. Mycket brant backe och kan bli svårt med en stor bil. Bra parkering vid huset. Städning mycket bra och fräscht hus. Vi har tidigare hyrt hus i Italien vid några tillfällen, men aldrig tidigare så bra utrustning i köket och välfungerande duschar med varmvatten. trevliga värdar. Det som drar ner betyget är att man vid bokning efterfrågade om vi önskade "Additional sheets and towels". Jag förutsatte att det ingick ett set/ person...

"The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped and mostly private. Not sure if the apartment above is a rental but the people were extremely noisy. Check in was a bit of an issue as the sat nav said we had arrived and we were still about a mile away. Luckily we texted the manager and he came and found us. The pool was beautiful and the manager came most days to clean it and sweep the garden. I would certainly recommend staying here. Oh, and the view was exceptional. Thank you"
