Lovely stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this very well thought out layout of a house, pool and dock. The house provided plenty of space for people to spread out. The dock was close as many homes are on large hills, it was easy to access. The marina is a short boat ride away with restaurant, games for kids, ice cream and more. We can’t wait to be back.

This pretty home was not only well designed, comfortable and adequately stocked with fully functioning and quality appliances, it was also located in a quiet cove that enabled easy access for docking our boat. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and provided many hours for fun for kids and adults alike!

Perfect Lake House!

The house was perfect for our family of 10, ranging from a 1 yr old to grandparents. The house has multiple convenient gathering spaces and the bedrooms are nicely spaced out to give privacy to all. The pool was a big hit and having a dock on the lake allowed us to rent a boat and easily explore the lake every day.

Beautiful property with amazing pool and hot tub! Good location on lake with adequate car parking. Small problem with working coffee makers but management responded quickly. It would be easier securing boats with more cleats on the docks. We really enjoyed our stay at Magnolia Cove on Smith Mountain Lake!

Magnolia Cove Is Wonderful!

My extended family had a truly special time at Magnolia Cove. The house is clean, beautiful and well-designed. It is one of the best equipped vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The two paddle boards available there were fun to have on hand. We also rented a tritoon boat for a couple of days during the week, which made our stay extra-special. The lake is huge and just gorgeous. Deer were everywhere and one spike buck we dubbed “Bob” came and visited every day. Mike was easy to work with. We had a couple of small issues, easily resolved. Wonderful time! Thank you, Beville Getaways!

Great house & even better location!

We had an amazing time at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The house had all the amenities we needed and more, including a fully stocked kitchen, cozy electric fireplace, Wi-Fi, and a kitchen starter kit.The location was ideal—quite neighborhood, on the lake and close to the Food Lion grocery store. It made exploring the area super convenient and stress-free.The owner was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, from booking to check-out. We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed days/nights on the lake. We ate at a great pizza place (Benny Adelina's where the only size pizza they have is 28" and it was delicious) and then took the boat to another good restaurant (Jake's Place). Would NOT recommend Drifters as the food was awful and they added 10.53 in extra fees to our bill. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway/family vacation/romantic weekend/etc.!

3 generations, 12 of us all told, descended on Magnolia Cove in July 2025, and we shared a brilliant week! From the home to the hot tub to the pool to the lake (with the paddleboard, kayak, and a rented pontoon boat), our options were manifold and delightful. Our family had an overall excellent stay at Magnolia Cove and would recommend it to anyone. The house was clean and in a great location (grocery store 10 minutes away). If the kids weren't in the pool, they were fishing at the dock. We had a very nice, relaxing week and were visited everyday by a herd of deer. There was also an ice cream boat that made its rounds during the day and evening.

Great house for a group.

We had four couples and 7 kids under 5 years old and there was plenty of room for all. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. The outside deck and patio areas were very nice and the pool was super clean when we arrived. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
